They came out and wanted $657 to install a simple dishwasher. No takeaway. Just install. Here's the kicker: they come out to you to give you the price. They don't do it over the phone. Coming out to you coats $79. so essentially, the business strategy is to come out to you, give you an INSANE price and charge you $79 for the drive. good business strategy for them. Not for you.

I've used Basnett for my water heater and a couple of valve replacements for outside spigots. The service was excellent and the work was done well. Technicians are friendly, supremely knowledgeable, explained what they were doing, and spotted problems that I wouldn't have noticed. In one case they noticed a faulty expansion tank that would have been an expensive emergency had it not been discovered.

If you've had problems in the past with communication from service providers, you won't experience that here. Their office is great about scheduling appointments and communicating availability. The times I've used them they've contacted me and asked if it was OK to show up early.

Wayne Lambert from Basnett Plumbing did an excellent job installing a new faucet in my downstairs bathroom! He spent time to answer all my questions in detail and let me know what he was doing each step of the way. Wayne actually cleaned my sink before putting the new faucet on.
