I have used Patterson for years. The good value part was because of the economy and nothing to do with Patterson. I guess in todays country everything cost more. The high cost of everything is not their fault. Freon. Heaven forbid! Check the prices. Again, Not their fault. Steven came out and did his summer check on both units. He's been to this house before and has always been friendly, polite and very thorough.

He had to wait for a torrential downpour to pass and ended up spending 2 plus hours plus. Not his fault, but he kept at it dodging the rain drops to get the job accomplished. He was concerned about getting house wet or dirty and it was appreciated. He also took the time to explain everything he went through. Good and not so good. (the pains of a homeowner). They have always been a good company and won't steer you wrong. I've had other big, big name companies in Charlotte use he pressure tactics to sell you something you don't need. Not with Patterson. I recommend highly or I wouldn't have used them for years.

I was recommended Patterson by a coworker and very glad I listened. A few days before a snowstorm and below freezing temperatures, my heater decided to quit working (terrible timing, right?). Susan and Karen dispatched Tony to my house the very next morning. Tony was the most friendly, helpful, professional service tech I have encountered. Tony took the time to describe the problems with my heater, show me pictures and dirty/damaged parts, and teach me how the system worked.

Not knowing anything about HVAC myself, I had full trust and confidence in the repairs Tony said I needed. Tony completed all repairs in a tight attic space and never complained. My heat is working perfectly now and I will absolutely recommend Patterson (and Tony) to anyone looking for HVAC repair in Charlotte. We have used Pattersons for 30 years in 3 houses. They have both maintained our heating and air plus replaced units as needed. In December when Steven did the maintenance, he suggested we install the I-Wave air purifiers in our systems. What a difference they have made. Now the filters are not even dirty as the I-Wave cleans the air, dust, cat dander etc as it goes. And we want to thank Steven who has serviced our units for the last couple of years for his outstanding customer service. We hope he continues to come to our house as he is the best. Great Job!

Patterson did an amazing job. We called at 5pm on a Thursday when our AC was not keeping up cooling our house. The lady I spoke too took my info and let me know a tech would call when he could schedule us. A few minutes later the tech called, he was on his way. He showed up exactly when he said he would, was very professional, diagnosed and repaired the issue for us. And I do believe the price was very fair. I would recommend these guys to anyone. (And I am not typically someone who would write reviews) but I do think they did a great job and we appreciate it.

Steven was the technician that performed my maintenance today. Service was exceptional and could answer any questions I had for him. Gave me some great tips on how to take care of my AV unit to mitigate future problems and was right on time. Gave his honest opinion and definitely knew his stuff.
