In 2020 we had our air handler replaced by these folks for $4,000. A year later it leaked- they fixed it and tried to charge me-- but after calling they agreed it was under warranty. This summer it would not shut off-- and they fixed the warrantied part-- but are charging me $900! For a service call, hourly labor, and 'freon' that leaked because the part was broken. I also have a ridiculously high electric bill due to the AC staying on incessantly until they could repair the warrantied part.
Let me be clear: HAD THE PART NOT BROKEN -- we would not have needed 1)a service call 2) freon 3)4 hours of labor. a part that is a year and a half old! The service tech by his own admission had "nothing else to do"--- and went back and forth to his office, did extra cleaning, etc. on what we believed was a courtesy call on a warrantied air handler. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Estimate was very thorough. I was excited for the installation. Day of installation everything went south quickly. 1 hour late. 1 of the 3 technicians acted immature with comments and jokes while walking down the job with them. Told me I was was going to be left without heat until the following day. I told him that was unacceptable and not what I was told. I contacted the owner and told him of my experience and wanted this employee to go. I told them they can continue or reschedule without this employee. They stated that wasn't possible and he would correct his behavior. I decided to not continue further with them.

The company gave me a very good price on a new furnace, they installed the furnace BEFORE the estimated time the furnace installers were professional and clean and the furnace is working great! Can't ask for more! I heard about the company through my mother who had used them for years before she moved to a place that isn't serviced by the company. Very happy and would highly recommend!

They offered top of the line products at a price point their competitors couldn't match despite offering lower quality equipment. We had this company replace a Carrier air conditioner that they installed 30 years ago. We never had an issue with that unit. Because of it's age we decided to have it replaced and upgraded with a newer more advanced Carrier unit. This was a huge job because the old unit's evaporation unit, coils, fan, etc., were all located in the attic and had to be dismantled to get it out. They tore out the old unit and installed the new unit in under 5 hours.
They removed the old outside compressor unit and installed a new one. They also replaced the old compressor foundation with a larger foundation because the new compressor has a larger footprint. Beautiful job! The Berkheimer technicians were personable, reliable and very competent. After they left you never would have known they were there because they cleaned up everything. The new Carrier unit works wonderfully. The company is a class act and we would highly recommend them to anyone.
