These warranties are transferable to subsequent homeowners. To maintain the remaining balance of the existing limited warranty, the limited warranty must be transferred within 90 days of the home sale. Either you or the new homeowner must notify Trane of the warranty transfer within 90 days of the home sale for the transfer to be effective.
