                            I contacted Cliffs AC as my neighbor has yes them to have A unit installed bd had a good response. So we went with their recommendation. We are 1200 miles away and did everything over the phone. Talked to Carol and Barbara who helped set our install up. Very pleasant to work with. 2 day install and up and running. Cliffs AC lived up to their name and quality. Would recommend them to anyone.

                            Do Not Use this Company. In March 2021, the owner, Jeff Cliff, quoted the unit for our house. The AC company is the expert in what is needed, so we went with what he suggested. While it was being installed, I questioned the installation team (a very young team, btw), asking if it was the correct size since the year prior I was told that the inside part of the unit might not fit in the current space, yet the unit they brought fit very easily in the space.
They acknowledged everything was the correct size. In June, as it started to get hot in Florida, the unit fan shut off and it started to get hot inside our home. We turned off the unit and called Cliff's for Service. The repair person came out when the sun was down and stated the unit was fine and sometimes the fans do that; stop for a second for whatever reason.
The air conditioning unit has continued to lag, particularly during the times of 3pm to 7pm, causing it to never get cool in our house. We aren't even asking for our house to be cold. We set the temperature at 78 degrees, but in the afternoon the unit cannot take the heat and our house increases in temperature to the mid-80s. Recently, another technician came out and opined that the unit that had been quoted was too small.
He admitted that sometimes the person quoting takes the lazy way out and re-quotes what was previously there and does not factor in the age of the house, windows, building material and possibly new square footage. Our prior unit was 20 years old and our house had been remodeled by former owners. I was told he'd review this issue with the owner of the company (the guy who quoted our unit) and they'd get back to me. Tick tock Tick tock.
No one called. I called them. The owner told me it wasn't his problem and that we approved what he quoted so we are stuck without offered resolution from Mr. Cliff. DO NOT TRUST THEM. DO NOT USE THEM.

                            Great company, great service. We had our ac system replaced and needed a few ducts replaced as well. The crew arrived on time, followed proper covid precautions, left everything cleaned up. After they left, one of our rooms felt too cold while another was too warm, so they came back a few days later to install a damper at no cost. They explained how to use it and even left a little wrench for us to adjust it as needed. We will definitely use Cliff's again when we need ac service.

                            I have used cliffs for years for service at different house's I've lived in and their service has always been great. I just had Cliffs replace my entire system and I couldn't be happier. They showed up on time and Cody, the lead tech, the first thing he did was introduce himself to me and asked if I had any questions. What a pleasure to start off our relationship in such a way.
They did everything that was promised and were very professional. They also recorded the serial and model numbers for all equipment on my receipt and they registered all equipment with manufacturer for warranty. They go the extra mile, I definitely recommend.

                            Thank You! Thank You! You have restored my faith that honest people are still doing business. My mother is getting older and sometimes has trouble remembering how things operate. During a recent cold snap she could not get her heat to come on so she called your office. A technician was sent out and he discovered that the switch just needed to be set to heat.
I happened to call my mother while the gentleman was there and he asked if he could speak with me. He told me what he had done and had a genuine concern for my mother's well being. Thank you for being honest and not taking advantage. I've had other family members that have dealt with other companies and have been told they needed a new system when in reality all they needed was a $50.00 part. I can not thank you enough and will be sure to tell this story to whoever will listen. You should be proud of your employee and yourselves. Well done!

                            From the first call with Barb, the service was polite, cheery, knowledgeable, everything you expect from an AC Co. The tech Geff was very informative, knew exactly what needed to be done and did it in about an hr.& I had cool air when he left. In the past had some horrific experiences with ac co's so it's difficult to trust anyone, but they regained this confidence that there are still some great businesses out here in FL.                             The first thing I need to say is, It's the best customer service I have ever received. I called on Thursday and explained that my Father-in-law was ill and on hospice care. He was here within 1/2 hr. Checked everything out with my husband. As it turned out the old one was on its last leg. We needed a new one. He gave us the price. It was very reasonable.
The deal was made. He understood the urgency in the situation. He had a crew in early the next morning. Than someone else showed up with a portable air unit so that we could keep Dads room cool. Plus great install crew. These gentleman rocked and I would recommend them every time. Thank You Cliffs. You are appreciated.

                            A great experience working with Cliff from long distance. I'm in MA and they replaced my AC in FL, All with a friend in FL opening the condo for them. They were on time, finished in a timely manner, and billed me over the phone.
