Adequate job based on needs for sell of home. The duo was professional and quick. They made an array of recommendations. Only feedback I have is they left my back gate open (we have dogs) and the ripped plumbers tape seal on my back yard pipe, removing my splitter. That wasn't necessary and fortunately there doesn't seem to be damage to the line. It's important to leave things in the condition you found them. That said, they were courteous enough to ask to use and move about other things which was appreciated.

Although I'm unable to use this companies services, I am pleased with the transparency I got from Christian Moore, a professional who came out and gave a free estimate on our air-ducts. As amazing that services sound that he was offering, they just were way out of my budget. I do appreciate his time going over everything, I now know what I'm dealing with. I'm hoping to eventually use their services in the future.

Wonderful people, very kind. Jackie came over and checked everything to let us know what we needed. He put us in contact with Tony and Chris for our Air Conditioning and Electric panels and they walked us through all the options and information that they could provide. They answered our questions patiently and didn't rush us. When the teams came out to redo our panels, they provided a generator to keep our pet snake comfortable during the cold day they had. Absolutely would recommend this company and these kind people to friends and family that need help with their home.

I contacted Jon Wayne last week to schedule an estimate for appliance install, and their office called the day of the appointment that they were running behind, and couldn't give an estimate of when they'd be able to show up. I waited all day, and recieved a second call that they were trying to get someone as quickly as possible. I kept waiting, and eventually a third call came to inform me that they wouldn't be able to make it that day, and asked if I could reschedule for the next business day.

That day came, and I woke up to a call from Jon Wayne that they could have a technician en route immediately who would arrive in 30 minutes. It took closer to an hour and a half, but the technician did arrive. The plumber who arrived was polite, professional, willing to explain things in lay terms, and was quick to assess the work. He called in to the central office and returned with a quote for the work, plus several additional ($$$) quotes for additional work he suggested also be done.

I passed on having Jon Wayne Service Company complete the work, as I've gotten cheaper quotes from several of their competitors. When I told the technician I wouldn't be using Jon Wayne for that reason, he insisted that Jon Wayne did the best plumbing work in town, had a warranty that couldn't be beat, and showed me a picture of equivalent work Jon Wayne had done at another site.

I understand plumbing is a skilled trade, but the costs for labor are astonishingly high, given that the basic install quote was more than triple the cost of the appliance I was looking to have installed. Overall, I appreciate the professionalism of the plumber, and would recommend Jon Wayne to someone who could afford several thousand dollars of plumbing that they were incapable of handling on their own.

Technicians were very good and professional! Jacob and his partner came in and did a thorough job explaining their process and gave me input on what my hot water heater and AC/Heat systems condition. They gave me recommendations on what it might need in the near future. However, your customer service call center was not very helpful. I called at 8:15 am to confirm the appointment between 12-2pm. Called again at 11:15 to make sure they were going to be on time, and they assured me that they will arrive between 12-2pm.

They would also call me 30 minutes before they arrive. I got a call at 1:53 pm informing me that they are 45 minutes out. They arrived at 2:54 pm. I was not happy! Fortunately, both Technicians were very professional and did a great job!

My 85-year-old mother needed her dryer vent cleaned. That's it. We visited her over the holidays from out of town and saw that the lint was backed up-a possible fire hazard. We urged her to get it serviced, and someone recommended Jon Wayne to her. She called me today to tell me she was getting the work done. The "very nice" technician was at her house, and to clean a small vent on the outside wall of the house (about 4 feet of coil), they were charging her $335. "And they told me they're giving me a 30% discount." I got on the phone with the technician, and he told me that he doesn't handle the pricing.

I asked him to leave and said we'd be using another company. So I called Jon Wayne myself to see how they handle a customer. I asked the customer service agent how much it would cost to get my dryer vent cleaned, and she said they'd need to send someone to my house. I then asked for just a range, so I had an idea of what it would cost. "We don't keep the prices in-house, " she said.

They would give an estimate on site. I told her why I was calling, and why I was outraged, and she asked me if I wanted to talk with a manager. "Yes, " I said. Mike, the manager, explained to me that the service for cleaning a dryer vent starts at $370 normally, but that a variety of factors that can only be found on site could drive up the price, and that's why they can't give an over-the-phone quote.

I asked him why they couldn't at least give a starting point (i.e. $370), and he agreed that was something they should consider. I'll give him this, even as I'm still shaking my head about it: He stood firm that $335 was a reasonable price, even when I had shared with him that I found another San Antonio company that is doing the work for $110, which is more in line with industry standards.

Bottom line: Jon Wayne may very well do good work. They may have excellent licensed professionals and guarantee their work. I can't speak to any of that. But beware of how they price their services, and make sure you do some comparison shopping. If they're willing to charge an 85-year-old woman $335 to clean a small dryer vent-and stand by that clearly exorbitant price-what will they try to charge you?

Although these guys are very busy they continued communicating with me about arrival time. Once on site, the plumber was courteous, professional, and explained everything he was going to do. I appreciated he was wearing a mask the entire time and put on Booties to protect my floors. He attempted to clear our shower clog with chemicals and once that did not work he used a power driven snake. He cleaned up and did not leave a mess. He was also nice to the family cat. Great plumber, great company, would highly recommend!

John Wayne was excellent and highly accommodating. We called on a Sunday and they were able To fit us in and had a technician visit us within a few hours. Richard was so polite, extremely thorough and went above and beyond as he explained to us exactly what was wrong and what our options were. He worked quickly and was able to solve all our issues right away!

We will definitely be using John Wayne again, and will always ask for Richard! So thankful for such a wonderful experience, especially after working with other companies in San Antonio that had done such a horrible job. Thank you for your excellent customer service and taking care of our AC needs!

Had our HVAC system installed about a year ago. It went well. We had our first issue with the AC not working. Tech came out and repaired no problem. Second issue was when our heater caught fire. Long story short it was due to an apprentice wiring our furnace. They went the lazy route and used existing under sized wire along with installing the connection behind a wall with no junction box.

Time after time asked for a manager and was told they don't have a manager. Come on now, everyone has a manager. Scheduled an ac tune up as part of our package which was never done in the year. Scheduled another for a Saturday and no one bothered to show up. My wife and I have missed several days of work and we now own a backup ac window unit and portable heaters for when our year old system decides it wants to stop working or kill us.

The last phone call was fun, manager is on the other line, so we wait. Then manager isn't at his desk. All in all I feel I made a poor decision choosing this company and would not recommend to anyone I care about.

I paid $179 for a tune-up, but actually got a life lesson instead. After a month of rescheduling due to their high demand for the summer (which is understandable), a technician came to my home to tune-up my 3 year old AC. I ordered the Ultimate Tune-up which included inspection, coil cleaning, 1 lb of refrigerant, and AC compressor saver. A deal listed at $179 and valued at $400.

The tech introduced himself, laid a mat on the porch, and put on some booties over his shoes. I thought I made the right decision just by how courteous and respectful he was to me and my home. The tech was in and out of the house inspecting the unit for about 2-3 hours. He seemed thorough with the inspection and took pictures of his findings. During the inspection, he notified me that one of my heating elements was bad, the coils needed cleaning, and there was rot caused by water damage to floor of the air intake.

I went to look at the flooring and saw the damage. The damage was apparent, but the floor appeared dry like it had happened some time ago. This is when the up-sales began. The tech came up with his proposals and recommendations which left my head spinning. The 1st proposal started at approximately $8,000. It included services, membership to their club, and warranties.

Of course, financing was available for 120 months. I asked if he could trim the fat based off what he said I needed and that dropped the price to $2,000. During that time, he stated he didn't see a point to clean the coils due to rot. I almost folded to the price, but scheduling caused me to back out the work. The tech swiped my card for $179 and left even though I didn't receive half of what was mentioned (cleaning or compressor saver).

I wondered if I did or didn't do the right thing so I called a private contracted tech and showed the pictures of the inspection. The other tech stated I could/should be able to do this on my own and gave advice on how to do it. I went to a local home improvement store and purchased the materials needed to get the job done. $200 and 6 hours later, the job was complete and AC is working great.

I'll end this point by mentioning I am not an expert or do I encourage anyone to do any work on their own. I anticipate a response that will attempt to "sell the benefits" of going with this reputable company and that is fine. I'm sure their work and products are exceptional. For those looking for a direct approach and avoid these overhead costs, I suggest getting 2 or 3 quotes before deciding if these benefits are for you.

The first 2 pictures will show the work that would have cost $2,000-$8,000. The last will show my completed work. Update 08/06/21: I was called by Jon Wayne's client care manager and issued a full refund.

I called them on Monday morning to tell ask the to fix our upstairs air conditioning unit. I insisted that it must be fixed by Friday as we had many guests coming that weekend. I got back in town on Thursday and called them - they had been to the house, but they hadn't ordered a part, or called me with any information about what needed to repair. Now, they can't get the part until next week and our air conditioner won't be fixed in time for our guests.

I had to get a company from Dallas to drive out to the lake to fix it. Very frustrated with the customer service - they should have called to update me so I knew what needed to be done.

We have a weekend house on Lake Cypress Springs and when we arrived last Friday it was 95 degrees in the house. We called Jon Wayne Company and they came out quickly and provided great service. Pablo was our A/C serviceman and he was very thorough, professional and gave us options to our problem. He did not try to oversell or scare us into thinking we had to purchasing a whole new unit. Evenutally, we will and will call Jon Wayne for their assistance.
