Shore Mechanical installed a central air conditioning system at our house in Springs section of East Hampton. Everything about the job was top notch. Frank came to give us a quote. He was very thorough and explained everything in terms we could understand. The crew that came to work on the house was very professional and courteous. They all worked hard and did a fabulous job. Upon my CAC compressor "dying" on the hottest day of the summer, Frank Sasso (of Shore Mechanical Corporation) the most helpful person to speak to (out of about 10 other calls I made that day). Since my system was 20 years old, running on R22 refrigerant - Frank offered to install a used R22 compressor, for $1800 - to match w/ my existing air handler (but he tactfully explained how R22 is being phased out of use).

After "sleeping on it", I knew that "cutting corners" in home maintenance is always a bad idea, so I called Frank back. In short - Frank then sized the units needed, provided me with options for cooling a future expansion, and thoroughly studied the existing air handler & all details for a new installation (of both a compressor and air handler, using the new refrigerant R410a). The day that was scheduled for the installation, the crew arrived early, worked very neatly until mid afternoon, changed breakers in the AC panel, and installed a WiFi thermostat. I am delighted with the responsiveness, thoroughness, and workmanship in dealing with Shore Mechanical Corporation. Thank you Frank!

I was shopping around for a ductless mini split unit to install in my garage and had almost settled on one company before reaching out to Shore to get one more estimate. They weren't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive but what elevated them way above everyone else was the level of customer service I received from Frank.
