Services
Solar Pool Heating
Our solar pool heating systems utilize Heliocol panels to extend swimming seasons while reducing energy costs. Water circulates through rooftop panels where solar energy warms it before returning to the pool. This proven technology works year-round in Northern California climates, maintaining ideal swimming temperatures without gas heater expenses.
Commercial Solar Pool Heating
Designed for large-scale facilities, our commercial systems maximize solar efficiency through customized panel arrays and advanced control systems. These installations maintain consistent water temperatures for hotels, apartment complexes, and recreation centers while delivering significant energy cost savings through solar thermal technology.
Pool Equipment Upgrades
We install Pentair's energy-efficient pumps and automated control systems to optimize pool operations. Our upgrades include variable speed pumps that reduce energy consumption by up to 90% compared to traditional models, along with smart controllers that automate filtration cycles and temperature management for maximum efficiency.
Solar System Maintenance
Our maintenance programs ensure optimal system performance through seasonal checkups, panel cleaning, and component inspections. We offer winterization services to protect systems during colder months and provide emergency repair support for unexpected issues affecting system functionality.
Energy Efficiency Consultations
We conduct comprehensive energy audits to evaluate current pool energy consumption and identify efficiency improvements. Our consultations include system sizing recommendations, cost-benefit analyses, and integration strategies for combining solar heating with other energy-saving pool equipment upgrades.

Questions
How does solar pool heating work?
Solar pool heating circulates water through rooftop panels where solar energy warms it before returning to the pool. The system uses your existing pump and filter with automated controls managing temperature.
What are the benefits of solar pool heating?
Benefits include extended swimming seasons, reduced energy costs compared to gas heaters, and increased property value through sustainable energy solutions.
How long does installation take?
Most residential installations complete within 2-3 days, including system setup, plumbing connections, and final performance testing by our certified technicians.
Do solar pool heaters work in cloudy weather?
Systems operate effectively with indirect sunlight, though heating efficiency decreases during prolonged cloudy periods. Panels still capture diffused solar radiation for partial heating.
What maintenance is required?
Annual inspections, seasonal system checks, and occasional panel cleaning maintain optimal performance. Our maintenance packages cover all routine service requirements.
Can solar heating cool pools?
Yes, systems can cool pools by circulating water at night when temperatures drop, releasing heat through the panels - a feature gas heaters cannot provide.

If you would like a shoddy install using sub-standard materials, use these guys. If you would like your new $10,000 roof ruined and leaking, use these guys. If you would like a company who does not stand by their work and does not rectify mistakes and damage, use these guys. If you would like a company that keeps your money, will not help fix the problem they caused, use these guys. If you would like a company that finally promises you $1,000 as compensation after you spent $10,000 fixing the damage they caused, AND THEN NEVER PAYS UP, use these guys. If you would like a decent install job, at a reasonable price, by a company that stands by their work, use ANYBODY ELSE.

When it came time to replace my old pool solar, I received quotes from several companies. I was impressed with the Solaron sales person who came out and the way he explained the difference in the different solar products. I did some research on my own and even asked my pool guy to make sure I was making the right choice. His response was that it was a no brainer. go with Solaron. good people and better product than others. On the day of install they showed up on time, the installer was a nice guy, and explained everything. Once done, he showed me everything I need work the system. I would highly recommend them.

This is the second pool that we have had heated by Solaron. The reason is simple. They use the best equipment (Heliocoil) and have an expert crew to install it. Russ responded right away to our phone call and was out to survey our pool and lot within the week. He understands the science that makes the system work and gave us a competitive bid. The install crew was right on time and very efficient. Mike is very knowledgeable and explained to us how to operate the pool and heater in simple terms. I would highly recommend Solaron to anyone considering adding heat to their pool. LLoyd S.
