Buyer beware- This past winter, Mattioni told me our heat exchanger was cracked, needed to be replaced for over $7k, and made a big production of turning off our gas heat for safety reasons, knowing we had an infant in the house. We had two other companies come by for quotes- they both said the crack didn't exist and turned our heat back on, instead of trying to win a big job. Always get a second or third opinion if you use this company! We had been loyal members for several years but no more.

Terrible experiences with them and my neighbors have had same. Overpriced, rip off, do not respond to complaints with understanding or refunds. Poor communication between customer service, owners and the actual workers. Don't ask me to call you, Alison, b/c I already explained the situation to you exhaustively. Please credit me the money owed.

Dan was fantastic. Detected the leak problem and explained thoroughly the cause, what would need to happen and the cost. Did not try to hard sell us on anything else but we ended up asking him for other jobs while he was there. He was friendly and helpful throughout and we got great value for our money. We will definitely use Mattioni next time (and hopefully Dan).

Dev was an excellent technician. He came out to do an annual check of our HVAC system and found some things we didn't want to hear. He was able to explain the issues, break them down for us and give us the best options. I really appreciated his honesty in what truly made the most sense considering the circumstances. I trust that with Dev's help we are in good hands and we will have Mattioni back again.

They are always on time and send you a text notification beforehand with a picture of your technician so you know who to expect when you open the door. Dan Good was very professional and explained every repair before he did it. His apprentice was also very good. Both men were polite, respectful, on time and clean (they wore face masks and shoe booties). They always asked for our approval BEFORE starting any work. Yes, Mattioni is pricier than most (and I do think they should get rid of dispatch fees for members), but they provide consistently good, reliable service which is why we continue to use them. They also clean up after themselves when they leave and bring their own shop towels, cleaning supplies, etc.

Norm and his coworker (sorry forgot his name) were shining examples of exceptional customer service! Just came out to check a leak in our hot water heater and in a short amount of time had the heater and old "Methuselah" the water pressure regulator replaced and running perfectly! Everything was explained fully and professionally and the work was done timely and without a trace of them ever even being there ( except a happier pooch from all the kind pets! ). Highly recommend!

Tim did a great job of plumbing inspection and taking care of some minor issues at the same time. He gave all recommendations with multiple options and also provided me with a wealth of useful tips/information. He was very professional and knowledgeable and simply positive/nice. It felt like I was talking to a longtime friend.
