My experience was positive. Called yesterday with the issue of a leaking valve under the sink. The technician came in today in the morning and fixed the issue within one hour including trip to get the part. Prior to this fix I had another company giving me estimate this morning - CALFO. CALFO's price was $447, almost 3 times more expensive then I paid Stahl. and of course CALFO still charged me $80 for the visit to provide estimate. So between Stahl and CALFO it is an easy choice - go with Stahl.

Used them plenty of times but only because our company has an account with them but i would personally never recommend them, atleast for plumbing. The ladies that answer the phone are rude and the plumbers ive had experience with are usually not good at their job.

Customer service needs improvement. Called for a quote on a pipe that burst and the operator said it would cost $120 per hour plus materials etc. She was very short and matter of fact as if this was standard. She pontificated when I asked additional questions. Listen, People are already stressed when they have to call a plumber. It would be nice if your customer service didn't make things worse.

We called Stahl Plumbing in McDonald to repair two problem faucets. When a woman showed up from Stahl, I was surprised but sort of pleased. that was a big mistake. The bathroom vanity faucet was leaking around the stem. The kitchen faucet was difficult to turn off. After much fiddling around and multiple trips to her truck, she told us should couldn't fix either problem because she couldn't dismantle either faucet.
Of course, she still charged us for the time spent at our house, which was over $100. I thought if you hired someone for a job, you paid for the "work" completed not the inability to do the job. Don't call Stahl unless you have money to throw away.

Service: Replace washing machine outlet valve - At the door, I kindly asked if he can wear shoe covers (either his or those that I provided). He refused and said he already swiped them off to car mat. - While I am on mask (which by itself tells I care about it), I asked if he can wear a mask but he didn't even bother to respond. - After 10-15 minutes, he asked if there is a bathroom in that floor.
I thought he was gonna check something inside. He just got in and peed standing up (telling from the sound of it), not sure even if he washed his hands afterwards. - It took one hour to replace a valve and he charged me $85 for just for the part that is commonly available at $35 online and nearby. 1-hour labor rate of $110 is normal I guess. I was planning to have them done a couple more plumbing jobs but changed my mind. Never again with Stahl!
