In over 40 years of home ownership I have never dealt with a company worse than the current owners of Thorset Comfort Systems. They do not guarantee a correct diagnosis or repair but they do guarantee you will be charged for every visit they make for a repair. This company will "guess" at what a furnace problem might be and then state they are NOT SURE if that guess is correct.
It took the owner three visits and three guesses at what my furnace problem might be-it needed a new gas valve-before correctly replacing. They appear to be not diagnosing correctly in order to require multiple visits and multiple charges to their customers. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint against Thorset and would seriously warn potential customers about this company's inflated billing practices, misleading guesswork, incorrect diagnosis practices and dishonesty.
