The worst company I have ever had to waste my money on. Their salesman made made promises about their commitment of customer service and everything was a lie. He said if you are not happy they will replace your system. I was not happy from day one bc this $7500 new system would not even cool my bedroom. Then later I found out that they put in a gas heat system when I asked for electric bc I had just been blown up in a natural gas explosion.

They still wouldn't do anything about it. Now I just found them lying about this 10 year labor and parts warranty. They don't want to cover labor after 2 years. They told me I would have to pay for any service calls for 10 years. I make one service call and they want to charge me $90. What is wrong with you people. Zero percent commitment to promises made. their own slogan is a lie. I won't give them another penny of my money and I can't wait to see you in court bc u are horrible

The technician was thorough, prompt, and shared details to help me understand what he was doing and why. I also appreciate the extra touches of getting an automated text when they were en route. All in all, it was a good experience. Services: Heating system repair, Heating system maintenance

They pulled a bait and switch on price. On the phone they said it would be $80 to send out a tech to diagnose the problem. This was great and $20 less than their competitors. But they also said the tech would review the options and price for repair before proceeding. That didn't happen and when the tech came up he handed me a $340 bill.

We have used Thompson's for years and have always been happy with their service. However, today, technician Chris went above and beyond while servicing our A/C. He did an excellent job maintaining our unit, but he also allowed my 8 year-old son to shadow him. Chris answered my son's questions and listened to his stories with such patience. He did this all after being stung by a wasp almost as soon as he arrived. I can't recommend Thompson's enough and I really appreciate Chris' kindness.

Late July my AC decided to give out. I called around to all HVAC companies listed in Oldham County and also called most in eastern Jefferson County. All of them except for Thompson said it would 3-5 business days before they could get out there to look. This was Thursday which would mean living in the heat over the weekend. When I called Thompson they understood the urgency being stuck working from home in the quarantine with a 3 year old and 2 dogs.

They had a technician--Trey--come out and look at it that day. He was in our attic for about 45 minutes, looked at everyything, quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us recommendations. Said he could repair it but it wouldn't hold for long being a 20 year old system. He said he would have someone contact me for a quote to replace. Worked with Scott the next day on a quote and my system was installed the next Thursday.the day most companies agreed to come out there just for the original inspection.

They were incredibly nice helpful and the installers worked very quickly on that Thursday. I'm very happy with our decision to chose Thompson. My wallet isn't but this stuff is expensive. After the install was scheudled I got other quotes acting like it wasn't an urgent issue from other places. Let's just say Thompson was very aggresive with the final amount and I appreciated that as well! Highly recommend!

My furnace system stop heating and with the age of almost 21 years. It was wiser to replace than repair. As for my air conditioner it was already going on 6 years. So with the different options that was provided by Thompson I decided I would come out better in the long run with the quality, warranty, and maintenance they provided of having the comfort of heating and air needed with better efficiency.

I did compare pricing with another company for the same work. It was pretty much the same. With that Thompson was eager to please and to keep my business did offer me a little bit better toward the maintenance cost.

The crew that did my installation showed up about on time and worked hard all day. They were respectful around my family and really knew the product and what they were doing. Our new system is fantastic and we are very happy. They have a great staff in the office and getting the job scoped and scheduled was a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this team for any service they offer.

I have been a customer for over 11 years. I have found them to respond very quickly and provide quality service. Comfort Club is definitely worth the money. They were able to keep a 30yr old heat pump system operating for many years beyond its normal life span for reasonable repair costs. I recently had to replace the HVAC system. They gave a great price and good financing resources.

Bottom line - They did a great job. They were nice to work with. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. Almost no problems at all but on the one or two very minor issues I requested they tweak they did without hesitation or complaint. They took out one old system and installed two new systems. I got four quotes and their price was a little better than the others.

They did this job when it was very hot and worked in my attic. It was a tough job given the time of year especially. Nice people, skilled people. You should definitely give them a chance to secure your business.

Kevin Thompson and the crew really are knocking things out of the park. They have helped me with my 120yr old house and as a fellow contractor I trust Thompson H&C will do right by my customers and the continual service they provide. Kevin and Scott understand building science and how a house can work much better with some changes in the supply routes and air sealing.

They have also stepped away from making the quick dollar and advised my customers of all of the options before the next step is taken. Call them to take a look, ESPECIALLY if someone is telling you a second system is the only option.
