Most air conditioners have their capacity rated in BTUs, or British Thermal Units. A BTU is, generally, the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one pound of water one degree F. Specifically, a BTU is 1,055 joules, but the first definition is easier to understand in real-life terms. One "ton", in heating and cooling terms, is 12,000 BTUs.

Hector Larry Rene and Pablo were kind, courteous and very profesional. My husband had many questions and all answered with patience. The day of installation the team arrived on time Ann's started work like a well oiled machine. There was no vulgar language used between them and all were very encouraging towards each other. Great company! Ive had my rounds with previous hvac companies and nothing compares to the professionalism and outstanding service they offered me. I've had issues with air conditioner not cooling and they have showed up within hours with a diagnostic test and repair all within 2 hours, and all reasonably priced. Most recent I bought a new air conditioner.
The installation went flawless and within a couple hours we were rocking and a rollin. Everyone knows cold air is a must in South texas! I live in Harlingen Texas and Snyder air conditioner company is the best hvac company I've used! Highly recommend!

I'm glad I made the right call with Snyder air conditioning. Technician Alonzo Garza was very professional. He was able to pinpoint the issue and get our unit back up and running again.
