Called out to check discolored water on one of my bathtubs. They performed a $222 service without informing me beforehand and my problem's still not fixed.

Very professional mechanic but after I paid for the service call, purchased the needed shower valve $$.the estimated hourly rate tripled in two days. Too expensive a 1k job! Declined the the service repair. Merry Christmas to us!

We used them for putting in a hot water tank last year and they have done HVAC/ furnace checkups. We also had them clean our ventilation system and install air purification systems. They did seem high with some of their charges but we are willing to pay for good service. Well after we spent a total of approximately 7,000.00 to 8,000.00 On their Services in a year and a half's time, they were not good to deal with. DARA, who handles a lot of things on the phone for their company was extremely rude, defensive, insulting and unprofessional.

We were quoted a price quite clearly for a gas line to be capped off behind stove area and then when they came out to do the work wrote a ticket for over twice as much. They would not take responsibility for one of their employees misquoting us and Dara was terrible to deal with. The techs even told us the ticket has been written wrong and they had to change it.

We will never use this company again and will steer folks clear of them. So unfortunate what unprofessionalism and a lack of business integrity and responsibility can do to a business's reputation!

I just want to say that I SO appreciate Philbrick and the great service that you provide. My parents have used Philbrick for over 40 yrs. Because I live out of town, I have a sense of comfort when something goes wrong and there is a need for a service call. I previously had a management position for a large (75+ service vehicles) HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical firm in DC in the past, so I have some industry knowledge.

I always engage with your techs & phone reps when there is a need for service either in person if I am in town or over the phone when I am not. All your staff is very professional & your techs are very knowledgeable & courteous. Keep up the great work & we will never call anyone else!

These people are HORRIBLE I signed a contract with them to service my hvac system. They came out to service it as soon as they left water started coming in from the ceiling the drain was stopped up. They came back out supposedly fixed it. A week later the same thing again They came out again supposedly fixed it again. Well another week later the same thing again.

So they tell me they need a plumber to come out this was on Thursday but, he's not available until Monday I let it go until then all this time I'm without my ac. Monday this old man with a cane comes out just to tell me he has to get a tech out here REALLY because the drain is stopped up WELL I've been telling them that. The tech comes out and said the same thing and left.

I've been calling and they keep telling me the supervisor is working on it and another day has gone by with no ac. I hope they don't get another job to do for anyone. I wouldn't let them work on my bicycle RUN DONT USE THEM unless you want to waste your money!

We have used this business for many years and sorry to say that this will be the last. They came out to repair a clogged sewer drain and said it was fixed. One day after it was still not fixed after paying $400 for the repair. So we called to have them come back out.spoke to Dara who was very unprofessional on the phone and said she was in charge while the owner was on vacation. Refused to help in any way.

We have never experienced such treatment from this business in all the years we have used them. Owner finally called back after two weeks and refuses to come out and fix what they didn't repair the first time and said he would charge us again. This used to be a great family run business which we recommended to lots of people. We will not be referring friends/family to this business any longer.

I would most definitely NOT recommend Philbrick, Inc. It took them 9 days to fix our heat. The man (Kevin) that came out to diagnose the problem was rude. The office manager (Dara) had poor customer service skills, was argumentative multiple times, and even threatened to have the heat turned off when I asked for an itemized bill. The day the technicians finally came to fix the heater, it took them less than 15 minutes to put the part in then wanted a check for $650.00, and never even checked to see if the heat actually worked.

I asked for an itemized bill before I paid because the part was under warranty and took minutes to fix. They would not give me one or let me speak to the office manager's boss. They finally gave me a work services rendered paper, which only had a total due but not a breakdown so I could see what I was paying for. From that document I learned Philbrick got the part from a company in the area and didn't even try to get the part until 6 days after the diagnosis.

Since I never got a phone call from a boss or an itemized bill, I am left wondering why it took so long to get my heat fixed and exactly what I paid for since it wasn't for the under warranty part and that price is way too much for less than 15 minutes of labor.
