At PBCI-Allen, our mission is to provide outstanding service to all our customers. We are innovators in new technologies and energy efficiency with a dedication to the increased usage of clean and renewable energies.

PBCI-Allen Mechanical & Electrical was formed in 1995 as a partnership brought about by the combination of Allen's Plumbing & Heating and Peno Building Company Inc. The company has 50+ employees making up several departments including service, engineering, commercial construction, and residential construction. Our services include design, sales, installation and service of all mechanical components and systems including HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical. Our management team has an extremely high degree of technical proficiency as well as extensive business management experience.

When it comes to HVAC, safety and comfort of building occupants are a priority, and finding cost effective solutions is key. Routine maintenance will extend equipment life, maximize efficiency and ensure that unsafe equipment is identified for quick remediation. When replacement is necessary, PBCI-Allen is your expert on efficiency levels and will handle installation and setup from start to finish. Your PBCI-Allen consultant is also able to assist with humidification, carbon monoxide monitoring, programmable thermostats, zoning and building automation.

Traditional energy sources are derived from fossil or nuclear sources which will be depleted over time. Renewable energy sources are naturally occurring and theoretically inexhaustible such as biomass, wind, tidal, wave, and hydroelectric power. With the volatility of the fuel markets and concerns about global warming, turning to renewable energy sources for your home is a natural solution. Traditional Heat Pumps heat and cool the air around your home, which can fluctuate greatly - from the low teens into the 90's, causing the traditional heat pump to run longer and more frequently.

At PBCI-Allen Mechanical & Electrical, our Product Committee is continuously looking at "green" products for all our product lines. A joint program of the U.S. Department of Energy and the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency, Energy Star is helping homeowners save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. Water saving faucets, low-flow shower heads, automated faucets, insulated piping, sustainable piping materials, standard water heaters, tankless water heaters, on-demand pumps, dual flush and pressure assisted toilets.

For environmentally conscious consumers, a geothermal heating system from leading Central Pennsylvania residential heating contractor PBCI-Allen Mechanical & Electrical offers maximum heating efficiency while utilizing renewable energy sources. Unlike traditional fossil fuels, renewable energy is safe for the environment and offers unlimited energy capabilities. A geothermal heat pump from PBCI-Allen Mechanical & Electrical will heat your home efficiently while utilizing renewable energy resources.

With heavy snow comes possible carbon monoxide safety concerns in the home. If you have a natural gas / propane furnace or water heater with white PVC vent piping that connects to your furnace or water heater and comes out the side of your home low to the ground, heavy snow could cover the vent. Even though this year is very different than most years, Mother Nature still does her thing. That means that Fall is officially here and you know what comes after that! In fact, we are already noticing a chill in the air, so now is the best time to get your home ready for cold weather.

You sure are good folks to have around when things break. The contractor who is replacing the drywall and insulation was here giving me an estimate. He discovered another tiny leak tucked away where nobody had checked. Your Mike was in the next room finishing up with the furnace. He got your dispatcher to rearrange his schedule and stayed to fix it so the drywall installers could keep to their schedule. As when the initial disaster happened, way "above and beyond." Nick provided excellent service on our semi-annual maintenance HVAC system, installed by PBCI Allen Mechanical on new construction 6 years ago.
