Official Heating & Cooling was founded in 1986. In 2011, the business was purchased by Adam & Cheryl Kern, after extensive research of area companies. Adam brings 35 years of experience in the HVAC industry and Cheryl has over 20 years of experience in customer relations. An existing relationship with the former owners offered the comfort level with the business that allowed the Kerns to move forward and acquire the business.
With over 35 years experience in the Heating and Air Conditioning industry, Adam Kern is dedicated to providing the best possible service to each customer at a fair price. After 20 plus successful years as a realtor, Cheryl was ready for a change and adapted quickly to business ownership. Our specialty is solving "comfort problems" in your home.

Al was professional and very courteous to my wife and myself. He took the time to explain what was wrong with our air-conditioner. He explained that a new a-coil was needed. Been using them for a few years now, they put in a new furnace and AC. Everything was quick and easy with no pressure. Everyone I've encountered has been professional, courteous and kind - from the receptionists in the office to the techs that come out. The prices are reasonable and techs are very knowledgeable and friendly. It doesn't feel like it's "just a job" with them, they take pride in their work and seem to really enjoy what they do. Highly recommend this business for your heating and cooling needs!

We had a great experience using Official Heating and Cooling. Very professional from the beginning to finish. Had a new furnace and air-conditioner installed. Alfredo and his team showed up on time, finished up by 3, left our home without a trace of debri, and took the time to familiarize me with how to maintain our new units. We also had our ductwork cleaned.
Same experience. Showed up exactly when we were told he would, cleaned our ducts and was done by noon. We did our research before we chose Official. We read reviews, noted that all technicians were NATE certified, insured, and licensed, had a BBB A+ rating. This was a huge investment for our family, we needed a company we could trust. We are very happy with the service Official provided.

I had a great experience today with Official. Our furnace gave out in the middle of the night and it wasn't until this morning at 8:00am when the temp had already dropped to 52 degrees that we noticed it. We gave Official a call and they had a servicemen out by 12:30. He was knowledgeable, kind and helped us with the issue right away. Only an hour later we had new parts ordered, picked up and installed. Can't thank them enough for quick service. We will be using them again in the future for our vents and ducts to be cleaned.

In all my years, I never seen a company quote a price one day and then you call them the next day to schedule work and the price is double. This individual Adam doesn't stand by his quoted prices and then thinks these business tactics are the right way to handle things. Unprofessional.learn by my mistake.now I have incurred a significant cost to purchase and return. Stuck with the cost incurred and Adam doesn't even care and basically says oh well.

The service technician actually just a few minutes early which worked out perfectly. I felt lucky to even get a next day appointment. The service tech got right to work and I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He knew exactly what the problem was and got right down to fixing it. He was done within a half hour leaving me with my furnace working perfectly and some good advice for keeping it that way. These folks are great. Thanks Official.

Today Joe came to clean my furnace. He is not Eric, so I was not impressed with Joe. Sorry.he was too quick, did not vacuum anything and to be honest I am unsure if my furnace will go the entire season without any issues. I don't feel that the proper job was done? My only recourse is my warranty. Eric did a phenomenal job with both my heating and my central air. Today's job would be a 4 out of 10.
