Nashoba Air

This was my first experience with Nashoba Air. The experience was great from start to finish! They gave me a four hour window of when my appointment would be. I got a phone call 20 minutes before the technician arrived and they were on time. My technician was Tommy. He could not have been any better! He was technically sound and took his career serious.

He diagnosed and repaired my air-conditioning system with transparency and a smile! Nashoba Air should be thrilled that they have him as an employee! He does a great job representing the company. I will definitely use Nashoba Air again!

Gas line installation. Tony and Dan arrived promptly, were very friendly and were very competent. We had to revise the original plan and they handled it in stride. The work was nice and neat and even the gas inspector commented on what a nice job they did. The office staff was wonderful; easy to communicate with and very helpful. They came back today to finish up after the inspection and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend them and Nashoba to anyone!

Nashoba Air and Boiler preformed our annual maintenance yesterday. William was very professional and knowledgeable about our system. William worked quickly, quietly and efficiently. Tony and Joe did an excellent job at our home installing a new mini-split heat pump and wall unit to provide heat and air conditioning to our main living area. They are skilled HVAC technicians who answered all our questions patiently and showed us how to operate the new system. Its our first time using Nashoba Air and Boilerworks and it was a great experience.

Tony, Danny & Ben added AC to an existing forced air heating system on our second floor (we have an odd setup - boiler/ steam heat on the first floor, forced air on the second from the attic - and they made AC a reality!) Super nice guys - very good at communicating and did a great job. There was a small mishap while they were here and they made right on their own which is always appreciated. Things happen and the guys were really great in how they handled it. Glad to continue to work with them.

Brian was a great start to my day. He arrived promptly at 7:50 and was brimming with enthusiasm. During the inspection Brian showed me the condition of some of the critical parts involved in the furnace cleaning/diagnosis. His thoroughness was evident. I am very satisfied that I'm in good hands with Nashoba Air and will request Brian on future calls.

Tony installed a new humidifier for my house. The system produced too much noise for our liking, so the guys came back and did everything in their power to remove the sources of noise at no charge. They were always courteous and professional. Nashoba Air has been great in all of my experiences with them so far, and I expect it won't change going forward.

The installation of my replacement furnace went really well. Jon and Nikolas were timely, professional, knowledgeable.everything you want in the people installing your furnace. Hired Nashoba for annual boiler service and am glad I did. Brian was exceptional. He told me what he would do, did that, told me what he found, told me what it would cost, and gave me an education on my boiler - something the last two companies couldn't do. In the end he saved me money because he recommended replacing a part that when removed disintegrated in his palm. This saved me money and the time and inconvenience of my boiler breaking down mid-winter. Very happy I used Nashoba.

In the beginning this seemed like a good company to work with. So we purchased a brand new complete cooling and heating system overhaul. However, better long-term efforts are to be desired. I was told after everything was done that continued service is not possible because we are outside of the area (fun fact: we are not even that far~30 mins). So everything would be billable.

Fast forward, 2 years later and our burner melted itself leaving us in the cold for the last several days. Now I've come to find out this company no longer carries or installs any of the products we purchased back then and went with a completely different line up. Goes to show that whatever manufacturer is offering the biggest incentives, rebates, commissions, etc. is what these companies push to their customers.

Word of caution for homeowners. Any 3rd party tech out there will come bewildered to unfamiliar equipment and you could be stranded by searching parts for days. Want to reach the original designer of your system? Good luck, he or she is no longer with the company. They are only in it for the big first time installations, collect a check and dump you. Oh want continued service? Be ready to open the wallet. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
