Our family operation began when John F. Moyer started offering reliable plumbing and tinsmith service around 1906 in Virginville, PA. John was crafty and proud, and created a legacy by offering top notch products and services. At the time, he probably didn't realize he was starting what would become one of the oldest family businesses in the eastern Berks County area.

Ever find yourself with an emergency at the worst time of the day or night? Did that pipe just have to break on the weekend? I was very clear that I wanted an estimate before agreeing to any service. I was told they could not give me any estimate on the phone. Moyers total Indoor Comfort said they would have to come out, give me a price and then could do the work right then. I had several estimates already in hand. Waiting for this last one. A very nice gentleman named Zach came over, on time, checked everything out and had his boss get a quote for me.
Extremely high so I let him know I was declining service. Then he tells me his boss is charging a $60 fee just to come out to the house. I was not made aware of this "fee" at any time. If I was notified that there was a fee just to come out and give an estimate I would have NEVER made the appointment. I already had four other companies come out and take a look and I was not charged a dime.
I even called their office and explained that I was not told about this charge and should not have to pay $60. They told me it was a dispatch fee. I had to pay it. BEWARE: Watch out for this Shady company. They will force you to pay undisclosed fees. Also, VERY important to note, that on top of the 60 fee just to come around the block and take a look, Moyer total Indoor Comfort was the HIGHEST priced quote I received from anyone that has been out to look. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because of the friendly worker who came out to my house.

We use Moyer Total Indoor Comfort for multiple properties (some built from the mid 1700s) and have never been disappointed. Steve and his team of professionals have always listened to our concerns (even when I didn't fully understand what I was describing). I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reputable plumber/HVAC contractor. You will not be disappointed they provide fast and friendly service.

BEWARE Although their technicians are knowledgeable their billing is unfair. I needed a new defrost board for my heat pump, which they installed in 2013. I was quoted $488.00 for the board and the installation. I decided to get other quotes. Boy am I glad I did. One of the quotes I got was $252.00. The part itself was $102.00 and labor was $75.00 per hour.
We estimated 2 hours of labor. I then called Moyer'a back to ask how they justified the cost of their service. The office staff could not tell me the cost of the part or an hourly rate. They stated they charge a flat fee. I had the defrost board installed today by a reputable company in my area. The total cost 177.25. That was the part and one hour labor. How can they justify their charges? I know everyone needs to make money but that is taking advantage of your customers.

My old HVAC was 23 years old and clearly on it's way out. I contacted 3 local HVAC companies. The first one did not call me back, the second one showed up 4 hours late and quoted me for a 5 ton AC. Moyer showed up on time and explained to me the venting system in the house was designed for a 3 ton AC. He stated anything larger would cause condensation and ultimately more humidity in the house.
He supplied me with 3 quotes. I did some research online and found that in fact the venting system would cause back pressure if the system was too large. He also explained how a multi-stage HVAC would be the way to go. It would be the most effect because the air handler fan and the compressor fans would work at the speed needed. The three quotes were a single stage basic HVAC, a dual-stage HVAC and a variable stage HVAC.
All three were Lennox brand. From what I read Lennox is one of the best. I went with the dual-stage. From the initial contact with Moyer, to installation and now to the operation, Moyer did a fantastic job. All the employees were friendly, neat, clean and very knowledgeable. If you are looking for quality equipment, quality service and a great company to do your HVAC service, Moyer Total Indoor Comfort exceeded all my expectations. Not to mention I don't even hear the unit running; it's so quiet.

Steve has continued the great tradition of plumbing excellence that his dad Luther created in Kutztown for as long as I can remember. I highly recommend them. Steve was great in fixing my toilet. They were booked but they fit me in the next day. The price was right and great, the service was top notch. You can not go wrong with Moyer.

Brian and Joe were great! They worked so hard to get my plumbing situation under control and to clean my furnace. They were in the cold and they had to go back to the shop quite a few times for more machines but they got my toilets to work again. Also they let me know throughout the whole process what they needed to do and approximate cost which I appreciated.

Dustin was here today to make modifications to the heating and air conditioning system. He did a great job! Explained what he would be doing and reviewed the finished work. He also cleaned up very well when the job was completed. I've used Moyer's for several years and have always been satisfied with their work. Thanks for another job well done and God bless all of you.

Just had a furnace installed by Moyer's and they did an amazing job. Brian, Brandon, and Joe were great. Brian was here each day until it was finished to perfection & stayed to make sure it was done correctly. Jerry followed up with me each day to make sure everything was going ok and keep me updated and even contacted Countryside (the fuel provider) to make sure they were coming when they said they were.
It was overall a great experience. So glad I chose them to put in my new AC/furnace and heat pump! Moyers made such a horrible experience, a great one for our family. we don't have to deal with the oil smell any longer in our house and our house is safer now. Thank you so much Brian, Jerry, Brandon, and Joe!

We had the team from Moyer Total Indoor Comfort come out and replace our aging HVAC unit. Steve gave us several options across many price points and made recommendations about which system would best serve our needs. The pricing was very fair, and the installation was quick and professional. They stayed late to make sure everything was 100% and took the time to explain our new system and thermostat.
The owner even stopped by to ensure everything was installed to our satisfaction. Everyone was extremely respectful of our home and they wore shoe covers to keep our floors clean. When they left you couldn't even tell they were there as everything had been cleaned up and vacuumed. The system works perfectly, and they are coming back as a courtesy follow up to check out the system a few weeks after the installation. We could not have been happier, and would recommend anyone in need of professional services utilize Moyer Total Indoor Comfort.
