Not only did I need to replace my central air unit but I also had to replace my furnace. I had 6 companies give me estamates and Mr Don Johnson from Johnson's heating and air gave me the BEST deal. I went from an oil furnace to a gas and upgraded to a high efficiency central air unit and the price outbeat all five other estimates by far. Johnson's had taken care of everything from having the gas hooked up to filling out the paperwork for my appliance rebate and everything in-between.

It was so nice not having to worry about anything. Everyone was extremely pleasant and great to work with from the secretary answering the phone. To the owners. And every single worker I came in contact with. They got everything installed under a few hours and cleaned up after themselves perfectly. I feel very comfortable knowing my home is being heated and cooled by a reliable company. Questions or concerns, they answer without hesitation. I give this company a thousand thumbs up and highly HIGHLY recommend them! Thank you so much Johnson's heating and air!

Have been using Johnson's for 20+ years. They do all my maintenance and have installed a new furnace and heat pump over that time period. So the old furnace was on its last leg and I decided to get air conditioning in the old house. I needed duct work replaced. Their pricing was reasonable given all the work that needed to be done. And the installation was very quick and painless. They came back a few months later to check my air conditioning levels and even replaced my filter. I was definitely satisfied and I feel like the company was very trustworthy and experienced. It's always a big cash expenditure so make sure you get someone you can trust. Johnson's won't let you down.

I've been using Johnson Heating and Plumbing since the 1990's. Over the years, they have installed a total of 3 new furnaces in two different homes for me. They have always been very professional, considerate, and very polite. They always show up when they say and even after hours like when I had an emergency. I have never had one complaint or even unhappy with them.

The girls in the office are always helpful on the phone and the service men are very friendly and explains everything so that you can understand the problem and solution. I do not think anyone would be disappointed with Johnson Heating and Plumbing.

We recently bought a home that had a 13 year old HVAC system and electric water heater. The knowledgable technicians (Perry for HVAC and Bob for Plumbing) gave us a thorough assessment of the condition of each system. They each presented and clearly explained some options for us along with things to consider for each option. We subsequently purchased a Trane HVAC system and Rheem Tankless gas water heater, which have both performed well. The two different installation crews were also professional, did high quality work, and left the work area neat and clean.

It was very easy to schedule the furnace check-up in December and plumbing (faucet) repair in October 2021. The Johnson's repairmen were very efficient and personable. Started to use Johnson's a number of years ago after a different local company failed to find a leak in the furnace that could have ruined the A/C system. A tech from Johnson's found it right away! In 2020 I had Johnson's install a new furnace and a/c unit and they did a thorough and efficient job. The management, technicians, and the staff answering the phones are very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Johnson's is an outstanding company and I highly recommend them.

Very responsive to initial call of no heat. Accurate diagnosis and temporizing repairs. Follow up very timely. Final installation of new system done correctly and cleanly. Only complaint is that Trane would not give any consideration on price even tho this was due to a failure of a warranted part. Service: Heating system installation

Johnson's came in and fixed an awful job performed by another contractor. They provided 3 FABULOUS technicians. Showed up on the right day and on time. Friendly, fun amd totally understanding of a less tjam desirable basement! Id give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you Don Johnson and Staff!

Unbelievably helpful and came at a moments notice. They were respectful and very nice to work with. It eased our minds. In fact the guy that came to do the work was off and came in because they had gotten so many calls of people needing help! Seemingly a great company that employees even want to work on an off day!

If I could give them negative stars I would. In a nutshell beware. I had a tech look at my furnace due to no heat. He told me it was the heat exchanger and it's very expensive to fix and my furnace is out of warranty so I might want to think about getting a new furnace for which he gave me an astronomical estimate. Being it was an outrageous price I opted to get a second opinion.

I called a heating and cooling contractor in Youngwood. They were great! They did some research on my serial number of the furnace.she found that the warranty IS valid until 2025. They over to start the claim process to make sure it was the heat exchanger. The new tech was very thorough and told me there was nothing wrong with it. It actually was the blower motor. He replaced the motor and it works like a beast. How can they sleep at night.

I have had to use Johnson three times in 15 years, most recently today. ( twice for Ac and once for heating problems). The techs are honest and I have always been pleasantly surprised by the "bottom line". They respond quickly and their work is excellent.

We are unhappy with Johnson's Heating and Cooling; particularly the service they provide in Greensburg, PA. Our smart thermostat began sending us an alert that it was not receiving adequate power from the "Rh" line running to our 1920's boiler powering our radiant heating system. As such, the boiler stopped working. We paid $80 to have a tech come out and diagnose the issue, and we were sure to tell him about the "Rh line alert" we had received.

Upon inspecting our boiler, it was determined that a new gas valve was needed, and the whole boiler system (including pipes) would need to be replaced. The quote? $11,260. We were suspicious of the diagnosis (as the valve has nothing to do with the wiring), and called in another heating company to come take a look. The new tech quickly identified a blown fuse, and replaced the part for $240, including an after-hours visit fee.

We simply don't believe that a company could whiff that badly, so one of two things has become clear to us about Johnson's: 1. They are liars looking for chumps who will pony up cash blindly. 2. They don't know heating systems. We're not sure which scenario is more damning, so we'll let you, the review reader, figure it out! Take your hard-earned savings somewhere else, and always, ALWAYS get a second opinion.

Was disappointed when seeking service on a Sunday evening that upon calling ( answering service) we did not receive a return call or any follow - up until Monday morning.
