Our AC went out in the middle of a heat wave on a Saturday night. We called Oelerich HVAC and told them that we could endure the heat over the weekend but even so on Sunday morning the company owner, Jerry Oelerich called and made arrangements to stop by Monday morning. We decided on the unit we wanted but due to Covid and the ongoing heat waves nationwide, there were limited supplies of that model. Jerry and his team called around and found the exact unit we hoped to get.
The next day was the hottest of the week and Nick was sent out with the new unit. He worked in the heat all day and that evening we were basking in the cool air. I cannot say enough about how quickly the Oelerich team worked and the concern they showed. They recommended the top rated products and at a reasonable price. Great team! Shout out to Judy on the phones too.

The company responded immediately after I called for the furnace to be checked. They clearly explained my options and the steps involved. Very straight forward, fast response, on time, respectful, cleaned after job was done, competitive price. Nicolas the technician that performed the job was puntual, polite and knowledgeable. I definitely will keep this company for future services.

We strongly recommend Oelerich HVAC, we have had them maintain our units for 16 years. Jerry goes above and beyond to answer your questions on the phone and as needed in person, to make sure you're taken care of. We had to recently replace our Furnace and we are very happy with the price, installation and will continue to have them maintain our units. Nick who installed the product was very efficient, high attention to detail, answered questions and extremely professional.

Call to make an appointment for a diagnosis on my heater on July 2. A technician came and took 3 minutes. My concern is that replacing a heater is very expensive and in addition to the inconvenience it had in winter, it lasted several days without heating. I told the technician that 2 people had come to check my heating and I do not know that one had changed a part and it was not working anymore.
He opened the gas tap and it effectively worked. I asked him if that was it? I needed to be sure that it worked perfectly. Didn't check anything else, didn't take the time to look at what I know about something electric, circuits, because the gas was closed? Is it because I have an accent? I asked him, is everything ready? his answer was yes! I asked him and for 3 minutes and open the gas tap You are going to charge $ 89 already?
He answered me, yes. The best comes right now. I immediately called the office and spoke to the person who answered, woman, and I told her about my concerns. She confirmed that for the 3 minutes that the technician was here, the service was charged! (I understand but the technician did not check anything else). I have tried turning on the heating and testing if it works or not or if it will stop working as before.
I gas the area where my heating is and I fear that there is a fire or something similar. Tell me what I have to do, please? Who do I accuse in case of a fire? Do I have to call Comed to come and check the gas, or do I have to call another technician?

They were supposed to have serviced and cleaned my HVAC system as a part of my purchase of this property. They didn't even change the filter in the furnace. HVAC 101. The AC had only 50% refrigerant. When my pipes iced up I was told to get a new thermostat all the while being spoken to rudely. They were also supposed to take care of a percolating water heater. They said that it was operating normally. A percolating water heater is not normal. I will never again use them.

Nick was very polite and considerate, he answered all my questions, was careful with my floors and was very pleasant. The Trane furnace I replaced was installed 21 years ago by Oelerich and maintained by them. They will be maintaining bith the new Trane furnace and the vew Trane air conditioner they installed, thank you Nick & Jerry.

Oelerich HVAC installed a new air conditioner for us a week ago. The whole event was exceptional (as we've come to experience from this company over the years). They were here within a couple of hours when the old system broke. They had the new system in quickly and efficiently. Judy, who works in the office and who is always pleasant and efficient - prepared a complete package of rebate materials ready for us to send off. This family owned business treats their customers like friends - showing up, following up. We feel well cared for!

Great customer service, excellent quality, and superb value. All 3 are pretty much the status quo when you call Oelerich HVAC. We have used them for more than 12 years and during that time we had them replace our hot water heater, furnace, and A/C unit. We also had been scheduling annual clean and checks for our furnace and A/C unit and the techs have been great.
They are always flexible with the scheduling and price wise they are quite competitive when you look at the quality you are getting. You might get a cheaper HVAC company but I can tell you from what I have seen in our neighborhood then when you go cheap that company will be back visiting you at least one more time to fix something - not always under warranty.
We have been fortunate not to have this ever happen with Oelerich HVAC. They are very knowledgable about their industry and the value for the cost is excellent. I will continue using them again year in and year out for all of our HVAC needs. I highly recommend them if you need a dependable HVAC technician at a competitive price.

In the past several years, I had them install a new AC and in the past month a new furnace. The Oelerich family and their team are very professional, immediately responsive to any questions and do a great job of clean up. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. New furnace was installed in timely fashion (< 1 day) and technical doing the installation was both very friendly and informative about the operation of the new device. During the installation the appearance of the owner's son twice during the operation showed a deep concern for a job well done. Overall, I would highly recommend using this family run business for your HVAC equipment needs. Paperwork to qualify for gas rebates was sent and appreciated.

We've been doing business with Oelerich since 2005. We've always been satisfied with their service. They've installed a furnace, water heater and AC unit over the years. It's a family business and they excel at service. For example, one year we had a problem with our furnace not heating properly on New Years morning. Had my entire family in for the holiday including very young children.
I called the emergency number and Jerry, the owner, was at our house within 90 minutes and had our furnace fully functional within 30 minutes. I call that service above and beyond the call of duty. But that is what you can expect from Oelerich.
