Jamie Oil was founded in 1989 by Keith Proia of Framingham, Mass. Before he started the company, Proia had worked for his father Sam at the family business, Crown Fuel, which was also located in Framingham. The company was named after Keith's newborn daughter, Jamie. Proia built his customer base quickly.

I have been with Jamie Oil since buying our house in Uxbridge back in 2016. I'm very surprised by the reviews that gave them a bad rating. I have had great customer service always. If I did have an issue, it was always resolved by a phone call to a very pleasant, polite, and helpful person from Jamie Oil. I have always thought they were a good company, but today they went above & beyond when (not to my knowledge) they came to top off my oil tank while I still had gallons to use at the lower locked in rate.

Not realizing that & didn't want an expensive delivery at this time, I sent them away. After wondering why would they come so soon after delivering a full tank in April, I called them and to my surprise was told that's what they were trying to do, because seeing the price is so high now, they wanted to delivery my remaining gallons at my locked in much lower rate.

I was so pleased and apologetic I had sent them away, what a dummy. They are going to come back out and make that delivery again. To me that "Great Customer Service". Thanks Jamie Oil. Bernie C.

Jamie is best in the business. Old boiler? Get the service plan. Their techs are exceptional and there when you need them. 24/7. Emergency service with a service plan and you pay nothing. Best in the business.

Jamie has been our oil supplier for about 7 years now and they've been great. I love that you can lock in a rate and their budget payment plans are such a good option so I can pay the same monthly amount year-round.

My wife and I are first time home owners and we were looking for a service company for our boiler. Did some research and decided to go with Jamie Oil. After only being a customer a few short weeks, we had an issue with our oil tank gauge. Jamie Oil dispatched a maintenance tech and was at my house within the hour. Great Company, Very Reliable and above all Customer Centric. I highly recommend them to anyone who uses oil at home. I've been a customer to Jamie Oil company since 2019 and I never thought of writing any review for them because I thought they're just like any oil company that shows up to fill your oil tank when needed but I'm happy to let everyone know that Jamie Oil company is not just your ordinary oil company that delivers only oil, they're oil delivery professionals who would be there for you at all emergencies.

A block at my basement accidentally fell on my oil tank and broke off a fit connected to the tank and this happened after work hours so I thought I wouldn't get help until the next day but when I reached out to Jamie oil company even after their work hours they immediately sent in their technicians to help take care of the issue before it got out of hand.

The technicians were very experienced and also took time to explain everything that they were going to do to me. I'm very excited about how quick this emergency issue of mine was handled, keep up the good work Jamie Oil!

I've been a customer of Jamie Oil 1993. I read a few bad reviews. Since 1993 they have also been there when needed, even Christmas day. Their service is great. I pay a little more for oil, but I never had to worry about service. I have well water with copper pipes. In the past three years, they have save me over five times. I would HIGHLY recommend getting their service contact. Great people and company.

I've been with Jamie Oil since moving to Hopkinton in 2007. They've always been attentive and responsive relative to service calls. A special shout out to Keith and Josh for putting up with my endless inquiries regarding a new heating system. They recently replaced a thirty-two year old boiler, burner and hot water tank and did such a seamless job. Brian was welcoming to questions and clearly very competent. I couldn't be happier.

Jamie Oil has been very good to me in the 3 years I have been a customer. We bought our first home and adjusting the oil prices and deliveries was difficult, but Jamie Oil was always available to answer questions, give us assistance, and provide us with solutions to make our deliveries work for us. Yes-they conduct a credit check, but a lot of places that conduct business with hundreds of dollars in outstanding balances do.

They have to protect their business. During this incredibly unpredictable time, Jamie Oil has given us the reassurance that we will always receive oil when we need it at a price we can afford. I always speak to Diane and she is lovely. Very happy customer.

Repaired a power vent with duct tape. That was part of a $500.00 bill to replace power vent. Have pics upon request. Would give -star rating if possible. Beware

They contacted me and agreed to extend the fixed price to the end of the season, which ended up as another two fill ups. I upgraded this review to 4 stars. If a company genuinely tries and takes action to make things better by sacrificing the legal terms, I have to give them a nod. If you have the cash, know your usage well, and want a fixed price for the season, they are a good company to deal with.

We signed up for a free year of service contract with Jamie Oil after receiving their flyer in our mailbox when we first bought our house, and thank God that we did! It turns out we needed nearly everything in our furnace replaced over the past year, not to mention the people before us had somehow wired it all wrong. Jamie Oil is always extremely kind and respectful, they answer promptly, and send a service tech out to our house that same day.

If it is on the weekend, there is a small charge but they are clear about this and ask if we prefer to wait. We have never had a bad experience. In fact, we often get the same technicians and at this point they know our furnace really well. We liked them so much we wasted no time in signing up for a second year. The technicians are friendly, and explain everything to us each time that they are here. I can't say enough good things about this company, I could go on and on with examples of how great they have been to us.

I was a customer for 2 years. As others have said, they sent me an offer with a low initial rate. Once I called to take them up on that offer they ran my credit, and despite it having been good enough to buy a house, it wasn't high enough for Jamie Oil, so every oil delivery had to be paid immediately, no different than if I had not been an established customer.

After the initial offer passed I was always charged well above the rate that I could have gotten by comparison shopping. For instance today I was quoted a price of 3.199, when the very most expensive competitor (of 17) in their area listed on NewEnglandOil was charging 2.980. Instead of paying $3.1999 a gallon from a place I've been a customer for 2 years I'll be taking my business elsewhere and paying $2.590.

They came for a second service call. Jamie is the best. First time was an oil leak. Today we were sure we needed a new boiler with steam coming out and water on the floor after a day of work. Always over in an hour. Guy both times the same and totally awesome. Great communicator. Get the free service contract. Go Jamie. Go nowhere else.or else.

Shortly after I posted my initial review of Jamie Oil I was contacted by telephone by someone named Nick from the company. He said he was the manager and that he saw my yelp review. He said he could talk to the owner of Jamie Oil about honoring the contract but he would only do so if I removed my yelp review. I asked Nick to put the owner on the phone with me to discuss the review.

Of course he was not available. I thought that seemed very sketchy and asked him to have the owner give me a call so that we could discuss both the review and Nick's request for me to remove the review in exchange for Jamie Oil honoring my original contract. No one from Jamie Oil has contacted me since. This is an extremely unprofessional company with zero customer service skills.

I made an appt. for a tech to come and check some things. The day of the appt. we had a blizzard. I assumed they would call to re-schedule. Instead he came early during heavy snow and took care of the problem! Very impressive.

Ready to sign up and was denied because credit score has to be above 700. This information could have been disclosed ahead of time instead of wasting time. Funny how I just bought a house but did not qualify for oil to be delivered! Do not recommend this company

I just got off the phone with Dennis McMenamy from Jaime Oil and honestly he was very upfront and very pleasant. I had some red flags that came up after reading reviews, but the ones who have an issue are the first to speak up not the ones who have had a great experience. Dennis cleared the air for me and I am confident on doing business with Jamie Oil.

Excellent! They are always very responsive when I have called with a question or advice. Their prices are fair and what I love is they truly care that you have a good customer experience. In fact, early one morning with only a half day notice, Jamie Oil's Manager, Keith, drove out to my home to check something I was uncomfortable about to be sure everything they had done was fine. It was and he took time to show me why. They also put in a new furnace I needed and it was priced fairly and they did a good job installing. I recommend them highly.

Avoid it if you can! Good price to lock you in and offered credit which you can use only if you are willing to accept the ridiculously high price the second year. Will come to fill your tank while you are away at work even if you talk with them several times on the phone saying you won't renew the contract. If you are determined not to pay 70 cents/ gallon higher price than the company you already signed contract with, they ask you to pay $100 labor cost to pump the oil out.

Not an honest and fair business at all. Worst experience ever dealing with an oil company! In the end, I paid the oil, Jamie Oil Company pumped into my oil tank without my consensus, using the unit price which is matched to what I have with the new company to settle this issue.

Customer Service is snappy.and likes to push a oil fill if not asked for a amount. I've had these guys for 2 years and ask to get some fuel and would pay the next day answer was no way in the world when others would say ya we will bill you.so I wait a day and ask for 150 gallons at 10 in the morning and get home at 6 at night still no fuel.these guys are the worst leave you high and dry also charge my card on file with no fuel in the tank.what a bizz.there service tech was great tho hence the one star.

I had a technician come for a tune up service. After he left I noticed oil leaking or oil that had spilled during his visit. The entire house smelled like oil from this area. I called Jamie Oil the next day which was Saturday and the women could not care less about our complaint and concern for oil possibly leaking out of the tank. She did not assist me at all and she also hung up while i was speaking to her.

I understand that it is a weekend, but I called the office number and she picked up. The least she could do is explain that she will notify the office on Monday but instead she hung up while i was asking her a question and couldnt even spend 30 seconds understanding the problem or concern i had.

Horrible customer service! Tech named Jeff came in dressed like he was going to a wedding. Then talked down to me like he was so superior and knew everything about everything. Asked me to find a tool so he could do his job. Really dude? Come prepared with your own tools. After he did the cleaning. which was way longer than needed, he just left. Never said he was done, no invoice or thank you. If I could do zero stars I would! Never again with this joke of a place.

Ok I don't want to be mean but I cant put up with the horrible customer service any more! This year I change my automatic refilling contract to by will call and one of the customer representatives emailed me ask if I wish to terminate my account!?*%! I never said that and I'm so confused and absolutely offensive. I felt like I was threatened to lost my account if I changed my plan or complaint. Anyway, I just don't feel comfortable with their attitude. A full service company is all about the service, their oil delivery service is good but customer service really need a big improvement.

Customer does not matter! We used them when they were Howie. Tried to go back but Howie never should have sold their name or their number. We LOVED Howie and Jamie has soiled their name with their less than helpful customer service. We wanted to pay cash on delivery and they were insistent that we give a social and open an account. You don't want my money? Okay! No problem! Oh and they were rude to boot. Medway Oil it is!

Jamie Oil has been a reliable and fair company. They have outstanding service technicians and offer a very fair and competitive price. They have always been there for me when I needed help with my system during the middle of the night. If you are looking for a company that covers it all and offers fair prices, then I would definitely recommend Jamie Oil.

Been a satisfied customer for years. Auto delivery contract and never let down. Five years and counting. This past Winter, with all the snow, the delivery truck was filling our tank, and I managed to get my car stuck in the snow bank in front of my house. While spinning my tires and getting no where, the awesome delivery guy got sand and a shovel from his truck.

He directed my steering and got my car out. Talk about going above and beyond. Have shared my experience with everyone and just thought I would share here. Great company, great service, great people.

Pre-bought and auto delivery and they still let me run out. Technicians and drivers are very nice but customer service isn't so great. We are going to switch as soon as we get what we paid for. My advice is to shop around.

Having been a customer of Howie Oil for some 6 years, I just came into my office this morning to find our furnace had stopped working. I looked online to get the phone number to find that they had merged with Jamie Oil.so I'm now a customer of theirs and they have an excellent opportunity to impress out of the gate. Afterall it's when things go wrong that you really really need good response: I'm pleased to say that they haven't let me down, less than 45 minutes later Josh has turned up, fixed the problem (something was broken) and we're back on our way to heat.

Maybe a little friendlier on the phone would enhance the service but honestly that's less important than a speedy resolution.it certainly is when you're shivering! Haven't seen the invoice yet though!.

Well, this was a good day. they send me renewal notices which i ignored as i wasnt resigning with them for a third season. the previous two years they wouldnt deliver until i paid and signed 2 contracts ending in october 2011. with the requests for new service, the last one said if they didnt hear from me, they would assume my service was terminated. this morning, while i was at work, they came to auto deliver, put in 27 gallons and then billed me. i called to tell them im not a customer nor was i renewing my contract, and those bastards threatened my credit record because they fill till you die i guess. they claim that service and oil delivery are different and as i said they will auto fill until told not ever show up in writing. bbb and ag's office are where my free time is going to go. if you can, stop using them
