Intermountain Heating and Air Conditioning was established on a tradition of outstanding customer service and quality products. Intermountain is the only Trane dealer in the Helena area and also sells systems from numerous other manufacturers including Honeywell, Mitsubishi, Gensco, and WaterFurnace Geothermal Heat Pumps.

I don't often write reviews - this is my first in about five years. But this one is justified because of the exceptional end-to-end experience I had with the Intermountain team. I was having problems with my Jotul gas stove, and after being declined for servicing by other businesses that sold these units, Intermountain enthusiastically booked an appointment for a technician to visit my home despite them not retailing with Jotul.
I had to reschedule twice, but they didn't blink, steadfast in their commitment to service. Russell visited my home last month, arriving a few minutes early, and performed a complete servicing of the unit within an hour. My home has since maintained a consistent temperature during these cold months in Helena, all thanks to Intermountain. I can't recommend them enough - they take on any challenge and treat their customers with unwavering respect.
Look no further for your heating and A/C needs! EDIT: I was not asked to leave this review. In fact, I contacted Intermountain asking them how I can do so - just another demonstration of their focus on delivering results and letting those outcomes do the talking for them.

A business is only as good as their employees and I have to say, you guys have nailed it! Chad and his partner were absolutely amazing gentleman from the minute they walked in the door. They spent 2 days at our new house installing a new heating system and the entire time they were incredibly polite, informative, and even offered to walk us through everything they did to make sure we were completely happy.

We put an addition on to our home and converted our current structure from a boiler/water heat system to forced air. Here are some things you need to know about Intermountain: 1. Their staff is incredibly professional, courteous, and kind. 2. Their communication is EXTRAORDINARY for a sub-contractor. They always showed up exactly when they said they would and always called ahead.
They actually exceeded my expectations regarding timelines. 3. The system they installed is phenomenal. Even the owner (Keven) himself was involved and was quite clear that they stood behind their products, service, and work. 4. I was pleasantly surprised at the bids we received. It was very affordable. 5. The staff bent over backwards for us even when we didn't have some things in place for them.
For example, I didn't have 220 service quite in place when they arrived, and Intermountain returned later to resume work almost immediately after my electrician put it in place. 6. I was actually given a refund when they didn't use some materials they thought they would. I would recommend Intermountain to anyone and will continue to use them for maintenance and service. I was very impressed.

The level of professionalism started with the very first phone call to this company. The scheduler answered quickly promptly politely and have the knowledge for the questions that I had. Scheduling an estimator to come out to my house was effortlessly completed within a few minutes and did not waste any time. The salesman that showed up to do the estimate put my wife at ease answered every question that she had and made her feel completely comfortable and confident in what they were quoting. Michael the service desk lady was probably one of the most polite and Curtis people I have ever met in the home improvement business. Russell the gentleman who installed our unit was 100% professional trustworthy and knowledgeable in answering any questions I had during the install.
After the fact the follow-up service was phenomenal and top-tier. I would recommend this company to anyone that is seeking AC or heating work done on their house this is the company to go with.

Intermountain did a great job with my AC install. It wasn't an easy job because all new vents had to be ran in the attic. This meant being in a stuffy attic with old shredded fiberglass insulation during a warmer than average June. Their competition didn't even bother to send a bid after looking at it. The work was done quickly and looks great. I would highly recommend Intermountain to anyone looking for heating or cooling solutions.

They did a very nice job of installing an air conditioner/ heating unit in my home. Installation took less than a day, although I had to schedule the work more than a month in advance. The technicians were good at their jobs, and made extra efforts to ensure that I could operate the unit effectively. It works great, and my home is much more comfortable now.
