I have used Service One for years, have an Extended Warranty. All of their work is thorough and they fix exactly what is needed. I would highly recommend them for your service needs. Their sales staff is always easy to work with. The only issue I have had is they are not up on some of the IT Technologies found in the Internet of Things, to help install products that increase the Smart Home tech. Had several products that the technology was beyond the folks selling and installing it, or completely missed in the conversation.

The blower motor in my furnace went out last week. I called and got an appointment two days later. The technician was great, diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes. Then told me it could be a couple days to get the 1 HP blower motor since they didn't have one in the truck. They have universal motors all the way up to 3/4 HP in the truck and told me that there are not many houses with 1 HP motors in them.

So it is not like they ran out of them, the company does not stock them. I was without A/C for over a week in 90 and 100 degree days. I have children, my step mother lives with me, and not to mention the animals. I had to go buy window air conditioning units for 4 bedrooms. I pay a monthly fee and a service fee for them to come out. What should have been a $80.25 call ended up costing me close to $1000 in air conditioning units on top of the service call fee. The technicians are fantastic, the company should know what equipment they need to service and make sure they have the one of a kind items on hand in case.

ServiceOne took good care of us in the COLD month of February. They installed a new air conditioning unit due to the phase out of R-22 refrigerant. They also brought to our attention of a situation with our furnace. We opt to buy a new one. So that would leave us without heat while we were waiting for the delivery of it. As dependable as they are, we were provided with floor heaters.

Then we received a call from them shortly that a new furnace was available for installation. The following day the installation process began. Thank you Tyler, Kyle.for your assistance and care.

The Service One Crew were absolutely wonderful, considerate, kind, thoughtful and answered our questions no matter how silly or dumb they were with care and concern! They are an awesome team and I am so grateful we have Service One for our needs, because they truly are the BEST in the area! They have always been honest and have always been very informative It is a pleasure and a comfort to know you have someone taking care of your appliances in your home that take good care of you and your homes needs and are especially honest people! Horrible company! This "home warranty" is not worth what you pay. Should your home need any repair they take the cheapest route towards fixing it. There were several things we asked to be looked at or fixed that weren't covered under the warranty (electrical and plumbing related). Their customer service is absolutely terrible. The people are rude and often don't return phone calls. Save your money and your time.

I was able to get service on the coldest day of the winter, on a day with a long line of people needing heater repair, with the repair people working literally all day, on New Year's Day. No other companies could help us on that day. Our repair person was working all night and finished up at our house at midnight. I don't think we were the last people on his list. Also, he did not talk down to me, like so many repair men do. I am VERY happy with the service.

During the very cold weather recently my furnace was really struggling to keep up, it was set between 66-68 and I would wake up in the morning an my house was around 57 degrees. Service one made it a point to come out the same day and had my furnace earned out pretty quick and had great advice on care and maintenance going forward. I will never not have Service One as long as I own a house!

Alan did a great job. He came in and within a few minutes knew what was wrong and was able to replace the faulty part and had my heater running in less than 30 minutes. Our service professional, Israel, was the best we ever had. He solved long standing issues and did a great job explaining how things worked. Called ServiceOne at 9:03 PM for an emergency service call, they called back at 9:32. they left VM asking for a call back. Phone problem, I missed the call and called back at 10:03 PM left VM, Called back and left a second message at 10:50 left VM. no call back. called the office 11:19PM after no response. informed they would reach out for a call back.

No call from Tech. Called back to the office at 12:45 AM told they would reach out for a call back, no call. Called back back at 2:00 AM informed. Informed that the tech had made multiple call attempts, cell shows one incoming call attempt and that he had called into the office and said the emergency was canceled. He had made zero attempt to call back, the office had made zero attempt to inform me and at every call apparently the call center lied about having reached out to the tech or call. I've learned 3 things from this experience. 1, The Tech a liar as only one call attempt was made and no attempt to respond to the two voice mails or respond to the number left attempts. 2, the customer service reps are too lazy to do their job and either reach out to the tech as they said they would at 11:19 pm, 12:45 AM or 2:00AM.

And 3 after talking to their customer service they have convinced me that moving the 6 account with service one to another company is likely the best way to go. Because even when you pay them a monthly service fee and agree and an emergency trip charge fee of 150.00 they cant be bothered to show up or have the common courtesy to call you back. its a shame a 1/2 star rating is not possible.

I want to give a shout out and thank Service One technicians for coming out to take care of a water leak in the basement main water line and washer appliance. Brian the plumber knew exactly what the issue was and fixed it right away after getting supply. Austin the appliance technician did an amazing job fixing and replacing the hot/cold water value in my washing machine.

He went above and beyond. He also replaced the rubber gasket in my front load washing machine that has black molding. I tried to clean it out but couldn't get rid of it. I am very pleased by the work and result that was provided. Thank you to Service One management for sending these two highly skilled technicians.

I've been pay $55 a month for the last 5 years for the home warranty! That's almost $4000! Yet every time they come out nothing is covered by the warranty and I en up paying big money! They won't tell you nothing over the phone(most of the lady's on the phone are extremely rude!) they just come out and if you don't want them to do anything they still charge you $80 for showing up! Not worth it at all!

Rude customer service. Parts take weeks to get. Repairs are made in a 6 hour window, when they can get to it. Wasting a half day off work waiting for a 30 min repair. Dont waste your money, time, and energy with Service One.

I've been so unhappy with Service One for awhile now. We have used them for 30 yrs. now. Up to $66+ a month, then charge $37.50 trip fee to come out for a standard repair. I now have a plumbing problem that requires a plumbing person from Service One so the cost will be what a plumber cost. First the lady from Service One says $250 for the first hour then the guy tells me $320 for the first hour.well that's because you need 2 guys to do the work.

So I'm looking at $500 or more to do the job. He said I could check around for prices or use them. Any other place would give me a bid free of charge. Service One is hwy robbery. Second review of disappointment.

Find a different Service Provider. We have (shortly will be had) the lower level service to get the free maintenance inspections on our heater and Air Conditioner. We called early we thought to schedule the Maintenance service for our air conditioner knowing we would need Freon since our unit has a small leak. Appointment was scheduled for 2 weeks out, week of service they called and had to reschedule for another 1 - 2 weeks out, they finally came the end of June.

We told them we would need Freon when we booked the appointment and My Husband told them again while they were at our home. But the tech said it was fine and did NOT add any freon (which we would have had to pay for with our plan). Less than a month later our capacitor blew up, called another repair company, they came out same day and we needed over 2 Lbs of Freon in addition to a new capacitor.

He also found our drain hose for the unit was clogged. When I called to report this all Jeremy at Service One had to say is "it was a month ago, these issue may not have been detectable then". This is BULL

This is not a home warranty, it's an insurance policy for Service One to guarantee they get work. It's not free, when you call about the warranty because of an issue it's not free. They come over to check the issue which you pay a house call fee and then give you an estimate to fix it. Also, should note that they somehow are able to remove negative reviews from this site.

If only negitive stars could be assigned. On the service calls I made, I had to go to the owner to have work done on the furnace after the staff for HVAC was condescending and their office sent a disturbing letter. I had four call to fix a toilet that still is not fixed, screws left off the AC when a service check was done which left a high vibration, a furnace part forced in crooked with the screws being placed in at an angle and loose and now a shut off valve installed without Teflon tape, overtightened which still leaked, compromised the existing copper and a very cheap shut off valve was used for a replacement.

Service One should be k own as Service Last.the last place you would call. I would strongly recommend if you need work done call a pro and place the contract money I to a maintenance account. They may of been good at one time but that time has long passed.

Our A/C went out about midnight Saturday during the hottest week of the summer (so far). We put in a call to Service One (with whom we have a home warranty) and finally got a call back saying someone would get back to us first thing Monday. We put in a call to another service, who sent a tech out Sunday, diagnosed our problem - blower motor, fan and bracket were shot - and told us they may be able to get parts overnighted.

Now it was a race to see who could get here first. Surprisingly, Service One diagnosed the issue over the phone and told us we would be the first call on Monday morning. Parts were delivered by 1030 Monday and Israel, the tech, showed up a couple hours later to do the install. He brought the wrong bracket, since we had an unusual type, got the correct one delivered, and had everything operational by 1730.

I was giving Service One 4 stars, but tossed in a 5th star, just because Israel is very knowledgeable and got us up and running. He also accomplished the annual A/C inspection that was scheduled for next week!

Be careful of their deceptive billing practices. Was told the service call would cost $70 plus repairs, they repaired nothing (except remounted my thermostat which I told him not to worry about) yet charged me $165. Complete rip off, would never use them again.

Had a guy from Service One out to do a yearly inspection on my A/C which was working just fine until he messed with it. He replaced a contact and a wire to the outside unit which he said needed replaced. He left, and I realized hours later as my indoor temp kept rising that the compressor was not on. Tried to restart the compressor using the little red button and it wouldn't start.

So I've been without a/c for a day and a half. They are supposed to send someone out today to fix it. If not, I'll be heading to a hotel. Not impressed. I had given them one star but then Jeremy from Service One came to the rescue this morning and fixed the wiring that had not been done correctly! He gets 5 stars! Thank you Jeremy!

ServiceNone: The wind chill is sub-zero outside. I had to bring space heaters over to my friends house last night. His furnace went out and they have a contract with serviceone. They suggested that they do the repair, and receive a "discount" on the $3600 work since they are on contract, and would only pay $1500 for the repair. (Never mind the fact that the work would normally only cost $1500 anyways).

The serviceone rep said they would leave space heaters for them, but only if they signed the bid to complete the "discounted" work. So despite paying $50/mo for the warranty and service contract. My friend was left with absolutely nothing after the serviceone visit, except for an overpriced bid, wasted time, and apparently a wasted monthly fee for ServiceNone. Not to mention that it was sub-zero outside and they have 3 little children.

Bill G. came out to address a kitchen and a bathroom sink clog. He identified himself right away and got down to business. He was friendly and worked quickly. He double checked the pipes to be sure everything looked well. He even let me know how to freshen a garbage disposal (no citrus peels!) using bleach. He seemed like he really enjoys his work and represented ServiceOne well. I am moving from this house, but will take service to my new house; since I know Bill is representative of the level of service. Job well done, Bill G.

Tammie and I have counseled many of our clients, when purchasing a home, to get an Evaluated, No Exclusions home warranty from ServiceOne. As buyers, this provides an added layer of protection knowing that everything about the core systems within the home are working properly and will be covered by all aspects of the ServiceOne warranty plan. No plan is ever perfect, but even in seller's markets where buyers are competing with others for a house, getting this warranty can be a real benefit (especially when a buyer decides to forgo a whole house inspection, but requests this free inspection). Many of our clients also keep their warranty in place long after the 13 months are up. But anyone can call them for service as well, which many real estate agents do.

We have been robbed by these people. The detailed explanation is too long, but suffice it to say that we were lied to, quoted different diagnostics in need of repair and charged two additional trip charges because the technician didn't have necessary parts on the truck. Because of their lying, we were without heat, in Nebraska, for 3 nights.

Furnace/air conditioning motor went out on my older unit in the basement. Took them weeks to get the right part in, but managed to keep it running until then. These guys are fast and efficient and get the job done but their technicians customer service needs help. I seriously had no clue on what was being worked on and asked plenty of questions but the tech I had working at my house just looked at me like I wouldn't understand. I'm interested in what's going on and need to know what to look for if this happens again.

It would help if they explained a little of what had happened in the first place so I would feel a little better knowing it was fixed correctly. Am I supposed to just assume it's fixed and not worry about it? Just a heads up
