After getting three different estimates for a new HVAC installation, I was thrilled when Guy's came back over 2K less than the other three companies. Chad Turner the president of the company was extremely professional and Duane and Logan did a wonderful job as the installers. My a/c wasn't out yet but it was definitely on the blink being that it was 16 yrs old. I would recommend their services and great pricing to ANYONE who is in the market for one. It's going to be a hot Houston summer and I won't be sweating it!

Stay far away, technician came out and said it was low on freon and the R22 was so expensive, he used a replacement freon that destroyed the compressor and charged me $600+ for it. If there was a zero star option I'd take it. Brought in another AC repairmen, who let me know the attic unit had a piston with a jammed valve. He drained the freon, and changed the valve for $15. He also replaced the outside unit because of the compressor. Went from a $10k new unit, to a $2k job. Sorry sorry sorry SOBs.

This company was hired through Homedrpot 10 years ago to install a full HVAC system including air ducts. I recently moved back into the residence and had this company that was on maintenance agreement for 10 years possibly 11 to conduct its biannual inspection. Upon my occupancy, I called the company because I noticed a number of things that were not working with the system which should have been taken care of doing the maintenance of the system.
One duct/vent was not working and the inside unit was leaking. During the first visit, the personnel didn't even look under the house to determine where the leak was coming from so he had to come back out and he did not document that I said one of the vents was not blowing. By the way it was the middle of ithe summer. Although I requested them to repair whatever was necessary they did not return to repair and I called them for two months asking why they did not come back to repair what was indicated in their inspection. no return and no response from them.
I find it troubling that a company that installs such equipment is not willing to maintain and repair the equipment and as to customer service, it is very poor. I informed the company that I would make this review and was told go right ahead. I would not recommend this company for anyone and more importantly Homedepot should remove them from their contracting HVAC equipment.

Logan and Dwayne did an amazing job they were beyond professional! They both were very nice with all and any questions I had. My house has never felt so cool before and the work done is beyond professional. They cleaned everything up and double checked everything. I also really liked that we were able to finance through the company and Mr. Chad was very informative about the whole process. Guy's will now always have our business!

Professional, efficient, courteous, thoroughly satisfactory. Your money will be well spent with this business. I submitted an estimate enquiry through Home Depot and Chad with Guy's Air Conditioning and Heating responded. My home is west of College Station, but even though it's a 2 hour drive Chad came out in person to look things over and give me an estimate.
I am especially impressed with the speed with which the job was done. Not just that the two men managed to install the entire system and get it working in about three hours, but that I was given an estimate on Tuesday and the installation Took place the following Friday! Here it is a week later, and things are working perfectly. Bravo Zulu Guy's Air Conditioning and Heating!

We had them come out to replace our very old A/C, Chad explained everything to us, and on the day of our install he drove all the way here just to introduce us to his crew and even showed my husband their company Identification. The crew were amazing and super friendly, they even laid a tarp down so my tile floors would get damaged then cleaned up everything, A/C is working great and we are very very happy, I will be recommending Guys to everyone who is looking for service.

Everyone (Sue and Chad) were great from start to finish. The finance process was quick and easy. Chad came out same day and had me scheduled next day for install. Just want to give a shout out to Guy's Air Conditioning and Heating in New Caney. Their service over the phone and in person was great. I was able to actually speak to someone. She tried everything in her power to help me before I had to get a technician out here. Then when we figured out that I would need service she got me scheduled the next day.
The technician himself was awesome he was on time, very friendly, and he explained everything so that I knew exactly what was needed. And how much everything cost. So if anyone needs a/c repair I would highly recommend them.

While getting multiple bids for my AC replacement I chose Guy's after meeting with Chad, very trustworthy and professional and easy to talk to. Recently I had the fellas from Guy's AC out to the house to change my whole system. Dave and Oscar ran the team and were very professional and respectful of our home and were more than willing to answer any questions I had while they worked.

Guy's AC was responsive, my AC went out after normal business hours and they called with in an hour! They were honest about my options and didn't try to up sell me on replacing my entire unit, which had been my experience with other companies! Im tough in my questions and they were able to help me understand what was wrong and the different options! I would recommend them to anyone needing AC Heating! We needed new AC units badly and decided to go through Costco to purchase them. Guy's Air Conditioning handled the installation on their behalf. I can't say enough good things about Guy's AC. Diane was fantastic! She handled the quote and stayed with us every step of the way to make sure we were happy with the work. She genuinely cares about her customers. Cathy in their financial department was wonderful.
The three gentlemen who handled the installation both days were equally fantastic. Sometimes, you get nervous leaving the premises when you have strangers in your house. I had no reservations leaving my house to go run errands. They were so friendly, nice and trustworthy. To me, that's a huge plus these days. They took the quality of their work very seriously and made sure we were happy with everything they had done. I really can't thank Guy's AC enough. Great work!

My husband reminded me recently that we needed to have an annual check-up of our 3 Trane A/C units which are 2-years old. It just so happens that a few days later, I was in Home Depot in Conroe, TX, and a man was holding a clip-board---when he saw me, he asked if I needed my a/c serviced. He said Home Depot would organize for Guy's Air Conditioning & Heating to call me to set up an appointment.
He said Guy's is family owned and honest; otherwise Home Depot would not be referring Guy's to customers. I liked the words "family owned" and "honest." I gave the man my contact information, and within a few days, someone from Guy's called me to set up an appointment. On 4-28, Donny (a/c tech) arrived and had a look at the units (in the attic and outside).
He was friendly, professional, and serious about his job. He used a meter to check my exterior units, and he said it is a pretty expensive little meter (I'm going to call it a meter, as I can't remember the term he used.), and it is VERY PRECISE. As it turns out, one of my a/c units had an issue which, if not remedied, could cause us problems.
This did not entirely surprise me, because that unit was blown off the cement pad two years ago during a storm, and the cables leading from the unit to the house were seriously damaged. At that time, the original a/c installer/tech came out and charged us a small fortune to repair the damage. According to Donny, the unit's pressures would not stabilize, which indicates contamination in the freon.
It was also a pound low, so I gave him the okay to add freon. Donny advised that the freon needs to be bled and replaced with new freon. We will do that in the near future, as Donny said it is not "imperative" that it be done TODAY. He left a quote for our review, and the fee for checking all 3 systems and adding a pound of freon was, in my opinion, reasonable.
As we exchanged chit-chat, he mentioned he is raising his young daughter himself. Very endearing! What can I say? I WILL BE USING Guy's Air Conditioning & Heating for my twice-a-year routine servicing, and any other issues that may arise.

Guy Hancock is a great employer and great person. He is very knowledgeable and takes great care of his employees and costumers. He will go out of his way for anyone and is very active in the community. His company has been in business for many years and takes great care if his customers. I would use him again anytime.
