Fritch was nice enough to sell us 15 gallons of oil when our system was run completely dry due to an unscrupulous seller and an equally unethical listing agent who didn't even bother to show up for a walk-though prior to closing. Thanks, Keller-Williams! Fritch was also just a little too eager to fill up our tank and reserves while failing to advise us on just how horrible a shape our system was in.

We were told by KW that it was in need of replacement but should last another season or two. It lasted about 2 weeks. It seems that an experienced organization such as Fritch should be able to delineate between 2 weeks and 2 years -or at least to be able to advise a client of immanent problems with their HVAC system and to recommend a viable replacement.

When replacement appeared to be the only alternative, Fritch wanted absolutely nothing to do with it and, in fact, their VP of Sales, Matt opted to no-show for his appointment with us on 5/20/2021. Unprofessional and unreliable, that pretty much sums up our experience with Fritch.

Very professional and quick response time! While Burkholder was a 1 week wait, Fritch got me in the same day within hours of being contacted by the scheduler, with a guarantee to come within 1 day. The technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Very no-nonsense and essentially knew from the get go what was likely the issue. Their prices are also some of the most competitive in the Valley when I compared it to others. I highly recommend Fritch to anyone as their first choice to fix any HVAC issues!

Wow. Our AC stopped blowing cold and usual company is out of business. Called Fritch only because ive ridden my bike passed them 1,001 times. SO glad i did. I had the calendar open to July thinking it would be a few weeks. Nope, took my number and said she'd have a tech there that afternoon the next morning at the latest. Within an hour she called to see if she could send a tech over. So i made the initial call at about noon. The guy was here and gone and we have nice cold air! Really great experience

The technician that serviced my gas heater was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I'm glad i found Fritch. If you're reading the reviews to see who you should go with for your air conditioning or heating needs then call, Fritch.

It's like dealing with a "Mama / Pap" store. After several phone calls and some complaints to get a service man to replace a simple blower motor took 1-1/2 weeks to accomplish! Initially, just to get a service man to check out the AC problem was a chore. Finally, getting only a 1/2 hour notice he showed up! After that it took another week until he finally returned to replace the blower motor (a one hour job).

No follow-up call inbetween from Frisch giving an update on the status and cause of delay! It's the typical behavior of a company doing well and having little competition letting customers suffer and unhappy. (This was not my first bad experience with Fritch, but definitely my last). Very disappointed with Fritch's performance and will be looking for other HVAC sources in the future.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. In early May we called to schedule our annual ac maintenance. The soonest appt they had was end of July (almost 3 months later). The day and time came, no one showed up. My husband called to check on their status.they say we aren't scheduled at all. Then they try to give us a mid September appt. This is unacceptable and very poor customer service. They keep emergency appointment slots.there is no reason we couldn't have been given one of those. We will not be using Fritch in the future!

I have had them come out and TRY to fix my oil tanks so the gauge reads correctly three times now. Each individual time they came out they charged me. All three times was within the past three months. On the last call they said that I did not do the full tuneup on the furnace so that is why they had to charge me to repair the gauge issue. Today I look at my tank and it still is not reading correctly. Hence they want me to do a tuneup on something that is completely unrelated so they can repair something correctly after three attempts. I will go elsewhere.

Fritch sent us a repairman almost immediately when we called today for help with our central AC that stopped working properly just in time for the latest heat advisory. Joe was wonderful! He explained everything in detail in a way we could understand the technology and helped us find the best and fastest solution. Thank you, Joe, for keeping us cool! A very nice man and a very knowledgeable professional. Perfect repair for the upcoming July 4th holidays. We're genuinely grateful!

Installation of my furnace 3 years ago was seamless. Recently I had a problem and had to contact installation foreman Scott Nicholas. Despite that I haven't been a customer for some time, Mr. Nicholas responded promptly and resolved the issue-and one I didn't know I had-professionally and courteously. He is a true asset to the company.

Note the 3 star (***) review comes from a simple average of the excellent and the awful. Fritch, over the several years I've used them for annual service to my oil heater and central A/C, is reliable, professional, and thorough. That's the good. The really awful is the cost. Some examples: 1. When I had a simple, no-frills condensation pump crap out a few years ago, the Fritch replacement was $330. Stunningly expensive. We're talking a "plug 'n play" pump, the kind found in many central A/C - humidifying units. Installation takes under 2 minutes and can be done by anyone with a screwdriver.

Online price for identical pump? $65. Guess what -- I ordered it online. 2. A recent leak in my A/C coil, visible and easily reachable in my attic air handler. Fritch estimate? $1,200. For a reality check, I called an independent A/C guy (a former Fritch service employee). His cost? $450. Guess who I used. Except for true emergencies, I cannot understand who would want to afford Fritch.

Called today because heater didn't work and planned on having fritch do my hvac on my new construction home. Since i had the number handy on my cell i figured maybe they can help me on my furnace that wasn't working. Explained that furnace wasn't working and that I needed someone to look at furnace. This was at 6 o clock in afternoon.

I was told to call back at regular business hours and when I am more knowledgeable of furnace operations. Person on phone was so rude and nasty. I was in a panic and was being yelled at and asked if I knew a hurricane came through. I will never use Fritch for anything. I would not have cared if they just said we're to busy call someone else, but instead asked very cocky if I new that hurricane came through 3 days before.

I recently purchased a home and have several fix-ups on my list, one of which was to replace the boiler. Fritch was very responsive, honest, flexible and knowledgable. Their quote was on par with others I received, with a big bonus in that they were a one stop shop. They not only handled my boiler, but adjusted my gas line for future additions (ie gas fireplace), and installed a new chimney liner.

They alerted me that my exhaust for the water heater was improperly installed and fixed it at no additional cost. The workman were prompt, friendly and knowledgable. Three cheers for Fritch! No wonder they've been in business so long.
