I have only good things to say about this company. Always there when I've had issues. Never have to wait for an emergency call. Been with them for 10+ years.

Horrendous, horrendous customer service. The 24/7 "emergency service" is just someone answering the phone and taking messages over the weekend-- so now we are stuck in a blizzard with no propane even though we are on auto-delivery. Was told they might return my call sometime today or tomorrow- whenever they get to it. 24/7 emergency service? Are you joking?

I am a current Dodge Propane customer. I called this morning because we ran out of heating oil in them home we purchased 7 months ago, which is my mistake because we're not used to heating oil and have previously only had natural gas. I called Dodge to see about getting heating oil delivered and was told that they are not taking any new customers even though I have purchased propane from them several times. Bad customer service. Val is not exactly rude but has no customer service training it seems. As soon as I'm able I'm switching to another company for propane.

All of my will calls deliveries have been completed within 1 to 3 days. I've had them out for some basic service a few times and I've always felt like they were being honest and fair

I have had a leak in my basement for two months on a system that Dodge services and it has yet to be fixed, causing mildew problems and lord knows what else. I had my heating system tuned up two months ago, I didn't request a time up, they said it was suggested, but since then, my heat and hot water go out nearly daily. I stopped auto pay with Dodge oil because after two months of using other places to shower and electric heaters at night, my oil Bills were still well over $100 and that is with maybe three showers in a month and cooking one or two meals on the stove, pretty expensive showers.

Not sure what is going on there, not sure why it has taken two months to order the correct parts for a system wien the parts can be found on the web and not sure why I wake up freezing each day and not able to shower for work and dodge oil wants me to pay for the tube up, that seemingly rendered my heating system useless unless I go down there and reboot it myself per their instructions and as their solution. This is a one year old on demand heating system.

If there were a negative star award it would go to Dodge oil. I use propane, the previous owners used dodge. I stayed with them because I didn't know how to go about doing a tank swap with another company. (Very easy and painless btw) If there outrageousness prices don't scare you away running out of propane multiple times during the winter will! (On automatic fill) the guys who deliver the propane have NO clue how to bleed your lines or even start your furnace so don't expect them to help.

Learn how to do it yourself or you will be paying someone to do it. I use propane for heating and cooking. I had 1 100 gallon tank that's it. They never mentioned I should be using 2. When you run out they try to charge you a 200 fee you have to fight to get back. (Not supposed to be a charge if your on automatic fill. Also plan to wait 8-10 hours for them to come fill you up in the dead of winter. Miserable company to deal with!

I AGREE WITH EVERY ONE STAR REVIEW If there was a minus star I'd use it, the customer service is horrendous, it's even worse than that! I'm sure the owner who passed away last June didn't realize his employees would run the company into the ground. When the electricity went outfit a few days I called for a fill, I had to call 5 times and was told because I had a generator I was no longer eligible for automatic delivery, Most EVERYONE in Maine have a generator must have been lots of people calling at least 5 times a day. Needless to say The Customer Service is on Life support, when the new owners take over, let's HOPE that's their Top Priority, they lost me, and my new company makes it real easy.

I have been very happy with the customer service I get from Dodge Oil. They are quick to deliver oil or service my furnace. I know I could get oil cheaper at another provider but I would not have the great service and all the extra perks I get from Dodge Oil as a long time customer.

The service guys that came over do not follow COVID-19 safety protocols. They had no masks with them and refused to wear disposable ones that I offered to them in order to work in my house. One claimed a medical issue and the other just refused. I had to have these guys come over to pump out my decommissioned oil tank since they were the only company willing to do it (companies won't unless you are an existing customer).

I would have sent them away if it weren't for being a captive customer. I called their office to complain and they offered nothing in the way of an apology or indication that they even care. This paragraph was from a review I left two years ago: I've been hearing horror stories from numerous people in my community about their customer service during the cold snap.

I've been using them since I moved into my house because that is who delivered here before, and they've been alright to me. But, now I need oil and they aren't answering the phone after multiple phone calls during business hours. Gotta move onto another company.

Some pricks that work for this company entered my friend's house to remove their old oil tank and refused to wear a mask, even when offered a fresh, disposable one. Ignorant jerks who want to jeapordize the country's population are stupid enough, but to willfully bring it into someone's house when they specifically ask you not to is totally unacceptable. WILL NEVER USE. Where is the negative stars option when you need it? Giving them 1 star is an insult to 1 star companies.

Had them for years. Never had good service, they won't deliver if there is so much as a dusting of snow. I used to deliver oil And always trudged through anything to make sure people had heat. I called recently because I wanted to get a bigger tank. They said it would be a month before they could even come out and look. And then probably another month before they could even think about installing a tank. Every time I call I get a voicemail never get to talk to a person. I will never use them again and I'm switching companies.

They only deliver one a day a week (Tuesday) to our location we ran out of propane on a Wednesday, they wanted to charge $90 extra to get a delivery. We continue to run out because we are running everything heat, hot water, stove off of a 50 gal tank they were suppose to install two 100gal tanks in Oct 2018 and it's now Feb 2019 so we run out almost every month.

We have had to go stay at hotels just to keep our kids warm. When I call they are very rude and short with me, I ask when the tank are getting hooked up and they seem to never know that we have the tanks sitting in the yard not hooked up. I would avoid using them if possible.

Ordered oil May 4th, and it is just now being processed for payment (May 29th). Called Dodge and was told the driver who delivered almost a month ago left the slip from payment/acknowledging the charge to my card in the truck, which was just found this week. The only thing being done, supposedly, is the driver/employee will be spoken with. Very upset with the service, especially since it took at least 3 phone calls just to get the oil delivered. Second time calling I left a message and they never called back. Very unprofessional, not doing enough to keep customers loyal. Will be finding another company.

For sixteen years we've used Dodge Oil for our oil delivery service, annual cleanings and maintenance. Their service people have always been thorough and careful to keep things clean when doing their work in our cellar. They have always been quick to respond if needed for contingencies related to weather which we do of course have here in Maine.

Biggest bunch of ignorant assholes you could ever possibly imagine. I was unfortunately their customer for approx 10 years. I was treated like some sort of criminal when it came to billing. Thankfully I will NEVER deal with these idiots again. Natural gas is the way to go!

Had the unfortunate experience of talking to Gary this morning to place an order for propane. Very short, rude and impatient. Sounded like he was chewing food while on the phone with me as well. It's too bad because I've always had good experiences in the past with the other customer service members. He ended up hanging up on me before I could confirm the delivery date.

I called back and spoke with a nice woman who I've ordered from before. She apologized for him, which wasn't her responsibility, but a nice, professional gesture. They do not have a review page on their website, so this is where the complaint is going.
