Fantastic! Our a/c unit recently stopped working on a Sunday afternoon, so we left a message that we needed someone to come out. The next day a technician was on site and promptly determined that the blower motor was bad. Definitely not a minor repair, but it's something that needed to be taken care of before the temperatures started to soar again.

They said they would need to order the part, so we slept on it and notified them the next day that we wanted to proceed with the repair. The part was ordered, and then we received a call the following day (Wednesday) that they were on the way to install it. Talk about a fast turnaround! The a/c was up and running in a short time and has been cooling perfectly since.

The technician was courteous and professional, and he did a fantastic job. He even left us with some adorable Post-It notes featuring Toby the company's mascot. The price was extremely reasonable and I am certain that I would not have found a better deal anywhere else. Thanks for saving the day and keeping us in cool comfort!

First of all I rarely ever leave business reviews and I almost hate to leave this review as I know it will make it that much harder to get them to come out when we need them next. Moved in to a 15 year old house last summer and despite all the warranties and checks, our air conditioner went out 1 month later in the middle of July. Called another company who came out and after 2 weeks the problem was finally fixed.

Fast forward to this summer when I know to expect our unit's will break if for no other reason than age. Made a proactive call to Derryberry and got a quote to replace my units. Very expensive and I don't want to have to lay out that money if I don't have to yet. Had their maintenance techs come out the following week in order to tell me just how bad my system was. Knowing that they gave me the replacement quote, I totally expected them to say the system was on its last legs and we got to it just in time. Nope! Surprise! The tech took pics and showed me the system was in pretty good shape and still had some life in it! Wow! They have a customer for life as I feel I can really trust them!

I called early in the morning as I thought I had messed up my AC unit while installing a new thermostat. Turns out it was just a repair needed on a wire in the unit itself. They came out, were extremely professional. Took care of everything they needed to, All while training a new employee, who was also very professional. They were knowledgeable and even tuned up my unit to work better. I appreciate everything they did, and will be looking forward to using their services again for any of my HVAC needs! Had a newer style unit go down one afternoon, called derryberrys they showed up same day and even though they didn't have the parts to get it up and running that day. They diagnosed and got the parts in and had it up running ASAP next day. Tyler was great tech who used all available resources to do his best to get my unit going as fast as he could. Great work. Will use in future when the need arises.

Called mid afternoon on a 95 degree day after not having air conditioning all day. I was contacted by the technician within 8 mins after requesting help stating he was on his way. Paul arrived, diagnosed, and fixed my AC within 15 mins. He was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. The charge was not outrageous and I wasn't hassled into unneccessary services. I have never had a preferred go to business.until now. Thanks Derryberry!

Had an emergency issue with my ac at like 6 pm on the hottest day of the year. They made it out at 8:00 am the next day and had it running! Communicated with me every step of the way. Would recommend these guys if you're having issues.

We had them come out to install a brand new unit and run all new duct work. The guys were amazing to say the least! They completed installation in one day and came out the next to remove old heat pump. They were fast, professional, and did amazing work. I can not say enough about this company! I just needed some maintenance on my air conditioner to make sure it stayed healthy through the summer. I had contacted another big Air/Heat company and they kept rescheduling me, so I called Derryberry's. The lady I spoke with was so NICE! Plus she got me in the next day and the price was better! And they have a great maintenance plan price! MUCH better than the other big company.

The tech that came out went ABOVE and BEYOND, and even fixed some past mistakes from other companies ( I have a very old unit) He also gave me a lot of tips on keeping the unit healthy. I can not thank Derryberry's enough and will use them for my air and hearing in the future!

During a semi-annual heating check and cleaning, we asked the repairman if he would mind changing out the padding and insulation around the furnace. He gladly said he could do and took care of the job Very well! We were very happy! One of the most important things to me when someone comes to do maintenance or a repair in your home is honesty! Derryberry's people are good, honest people and I will always use them and recommend this company to anyone! They are great!

Good people who own and work for this company. Their customer service has been great and they've taken good care of us. I've never had trouble getting someone to come and always on time. They even let you know when they're on their way and about how far out they are. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this company. They came here on 3 different occasions within around a 4 month period (2 within 3 weeks) and my husband decided that's it we need a new unit.

We bought one through them, mainly because they sell Trane (one of the best) and when they sent our invoice, for the new unit, they also included the last check we gave them for the previous repair. I was very surprised to say the least and even more appreciative. That's what I call customer service. I will always use Derryberry.

We had total unit loss needing replacement during the February snow storm. Chance got us set up quickly for a new unit the next day. Rick and his crew were very timely and professional in getting us set up with a new Trane ac/heat unit. They worked tirelessly for hours in very cold snowy situation. This is the 2nd time we have used them and are very happy with past upstairs unit installed. Highly recommend them and are very trustworthy.

Staff and management do not believe in customer Sevice at all! Paid them 700$ a week ago to fix a issue with our heater! After they fixed a couple days later we realized that the unit was not keeping up to temperature! Called them today told them what was going on and I asked them if they could come fix it and they said sure but where going to charge you another 89$ to come look at after they charged me 89$ last week to look at it for 5 seconds btw then leave lol!

Before they came out though our unit was not having a problem keeping up to temperature the only thing wrong was the blower fan bearing was going out and was still keeping up to temp before! So anyways my point is my problem didn't arise until they came out to fix the first problem and there wanting to charge another 89$ for a problem that they should have found the first time around!

So I talk to management and ask them if they can waive the fee and they said no! I told him that's poor customer service and not right to do customers like that! The manager seemed to not care at all and was not willing to work things out to keep a future customer which in my opinion is terrible terrible business practice! After all that I said I'm not gonna pay the 89 he hung up me and did nothing to try and keep my business! Derry berry has poor business practice and managers that don't care about customer satisfaction and only care about the bottom dollar!

Which is sad! I had no problem paying what it would cost to repair but I was not gonna pay another 89$ for them to look at the unit again to find a second problem they should have figured out the first time! And who knows they could have messed something up when they fixed the first problem who knows! Either way taking my business elsewhere! We called another heat and air company and told them what was going on and they where shocked as well and I told them Derry berry charged us 700$ for the first problem and he said he would have only charged us 300$ for the blower motor installed and I was shocked to hear that! Derry beery overcharging way to much if I would have known that I would have gone with another company off the rip but that's my fault for not calling around more! Derry berry if you see this please considered caring more about your customers satisfaction or you will continue to loose business!

Scott was my technician. I called on Sunday they promptly set up an appointment for Monday and said probably would be Monday afternoon. Well here it is Monday afternoon and problem has been fixed and I'm setting in a warm house. Kept me informed the whole time and very quick service. Thanks Scott and Derryberry. Highly recommend

From Rebecca in the office getting this set up for us to technician Ethan we are extremely satisfied. Walking back into our house you can already feel it getting cooler. Going by the great online reviews, we chose Derryberry's when our heat and air went out our first year in our house. They came out, said the ignitor was out, and said they'd be back the next day. They replaced it the next day and all was fine for one year. The next year, the heat went out again. We called, they showed up the same day, and they replaced the ignitor.

He said the ignitor they'd installed one year before had been defective and "that happens sometimes." He charged me less than full price but I still paid hundreds of dollars for the service call. That ignitor lasted two years. In November of this year, the heat once again went out. I called Derryberry's and explained the situation and she said it would be 24 hours until someone could get out here. (It was below 20 degrees that day.) Fed up, I called another company that showed up in an hour and confirmed it was the ignitor.

He said it had likely been touched while being inserted--a very common issue he sees. Whatever the case, two "faulty" ignitors? The new company replaced the ignitor and our heat is working perfectly now. Someone at Derryberry's called me and apologized, saying this was "very rare." He offered to pay for the latest ignitor to make up for it. When I learned how little an ignitor costs compared to the charge for the service call, I was REALLY angry. We've paid more than $700 for something that would have cost us $300 if we'd called a company that knew how to install an ignitor.

Maybe we're the only ones Derryberry's has ever done this to. Fine. But I want to make sure others are warned. This company is no longer the "small, local company" it once was. You can find better providers that won't make you endure a 20-degree night because they're too busy to show up the same day. Best of all, those companies will fix their mistakes without charging you hundreds of dollars for a service call and throwing the replacement ignitor in for free at a cost of about $10 to them.

Great, prompt service! Technician was polite and courtesy, not too chatty and focused on the task at hand. Billing and payment was super simple with the invoice emailed and payment taken online at my convenience, not a technician taking financial information. Problem was simple and resolved quickly. The technician would not leave until he had tested the unit multiple times and in multiple ways.

The final test had us waiting for awhile as my smart thermostat had entered a recalibration cycle. He wouldn't leave until he verified it one last time. This is what you want in a technician and service but rarely find - someone this committed. Will be calling again in the future for our needs!

Derrick was the technician who visited today and fixed our AC unit. He was considerate and called when he was headed our way. He was caring when he arrived to be sure he understood the issue. He was kind when discussing the repair needs. And most of all he was honest when giving recommendations for future service needs. We will certainly be using this company for our HVAC needs!

By the way, I left a non emergency message over the holiday weekend; they returned my call at 6:30 Tuesday morning and were able to get someone here today.great service all around.

I cannot express my gratitude to Derryberry's Air and Heating of Gallatin. We found them online through Angie's List and we checked reviews there and on Yelp. We purchased our new home prior to completing the sale of our old one. My husband moved into our new (previously owned but vacant) home and found that the HVAC was inoperable in the middle of the Polar Vortex winter weather system.

We received several estimates, and Derryberry's was not he cheapest, but their expertise, thoroughness, quality of the equipment, and willingness to work with my husband (a talented DIYer) made them our first choice. These guys knew their business. From the initial estimate meeting, to the scheduling and installation, everything went smoothly, as promised, no surprises, etc.

They completely tore out the old heat pump and venting system, installed ALL new venting runs, upgraded gas lines (we changed from electric to propane) insulated all venting and installed a wireless thermostat, condenser and HVAC. They cleaned up daily (this was a BIG project) and discussed all installation parameters or changes with my husband prior to doing anything.

We liked the quality of their services so much, that we just had them return to quote us a secondary unit for an upstairs bonus room and zoned AC system for an enclosed solarium. My husband said that each of the workers, said goodbye and shook his hand each day upon leaving. Little things count. Thorough, honest, quality service providers. Thank you.

We were having major issues with our A/C unit. It turned out that most of our air was going under our house and all the duct work needed replaced as well. After getting several quotes we decided to choose Derryberry Heating and cooling. I couldn't be happier with that choice! They completed the A/C replacement super fast and it has made a world of difference. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional.
