Critical: Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Air stopped working at 11am someone did not come to fix my air until the next day at 3pm (this is who my landlord uses) Service: A/C system maintenance

Very courteous young man came out to check out our AC that quit working! Needed a new compressor. This was a Friday. secured one and installed on following Monday! Hot weekend but we survived. Polite. well mannered and seem to know what they're doing. No complaints!

They seam to know what they are doing. They found a leak that others could not and ordered a replacement part under warrantee. The problem is they are not keeping me informed on the status of the part. It has been many months. I have to call them and they don't call back as promised.

Had them do a service check before summer. They check it and said it was wired wrong(it was installed 10 years ago) and they fixed the wiring and replaced a part. When they turned it back on it kept popping the breaker so the said the wiring was bad and to call an electrician. Eletrection came and checked wiring said it was good. He turned it on and all the free on exploded eletctrician said the unit was bad. Had coombs install a new unit.

I didn't receive the paperwork for the unit. I called coombs and was told the paperwork was in the unit and they would send someone to get it out for me. They never came. 3 months latter I tried to change the filter but couldn't because the unit was not centered on the on the door so it kept hitting the door frame. Called coombs the said someone be by 9am 2 day latter. they dud not show up called coom s at 1030 an was told they forgot to schedule them and that would as soon as they finished up the job they were on.

They showed up at 130 broke the filter to get it out and told me the only thing they could was put a filter on the hall door. I asked them to get the paperwork out was told it wasn't there that it was given to the office and they would get it for me. 2 days later they installed the filter in the hall door('which doesn't help much because there is a wall vent where the dust still comes through) and still didn't get the paperwork. Called office about paperwork was told they didn't have it and they would call the company that made the unit and get a copy and mail it to me. It's been a month and I still don't have any paperwork. Will not recommend them

AC broke about 4:45 pm. Called Coombs to repair and they were on site within an hour. Repair done quickly and professionally.

I phoned yesterday and said my unit was not cooling. I was told a tech would be out in the morning to have a look. At 12:30 today I phoned again and was told the tech would be out in the afternoon. At 4:30pm I gave up and called a different HVAC company. The new HVAC company tech arrived in less than two hours and fixed my problem in 10 minutes. I have a service agreement with Coombs and am very disappointed in their response to my problem.

My air conditioning stopped working on the hottest day of the year which happened to be on the weekend. The answering service said they would come later in the day., I wait all day nothing. I call next day, same thing no show and no call back. I called all day with the answering service calling them and reporting back they were coming soon and no show no call.

Finally I call and ask when were they coming and she responds tomorrow. When I ask why wasn't I notified she hung up. Horrible service with bad attitudes. If they would just respond so people aren't waiting in 100 degree temp's. Never again.

Anybody looking, we recommend Coombs hvac services. Best quotes in town, totally cool on the phone and gave lots of info, didn't just tell us we had to go one way with the repair but told us, and honestly, about all of our options. Getting them out here yesterday afternoon was a bit tricky, but I'd rather have waited until this morning than pay time and a half, so I'm not even bothered by that.

The tech who came to the house was quiet, polite, and friendly. He showed us everything he did, made recommendations to us based on what he saw on our unit, spoke to my husband at length to make sure we did not have any questions. Prices were half what we were quoted by other, more rude, companies. We would recommend Coombs to anybody and will use them again!
