After being quoted over $12,000 from a different company for an air conditioner install, I decided to shop around. Not only did Cool Sunshine quote me a drastically more reasonable price (which ended up being exactly what I paid), but during the initial visit, the technician also pointed out a number of things the first company hadn't even noticed. (This seems to confirm my suspicion that the first company was trying to take me for a bit of a ride, which is something I had been concerned about.) I am certain I got both a better price and a higher quality of work by going with Cool Sunshine.
All interactions were professional and friendly, with everything explained to and discussed with me before and after the work was done. Along the way, I was presented with a number of options and cost points for the install, allowing me to customize the job to my needs and tolerances. The finished work looks great, and our giant, fluffy dog seems much happier with the summer temperatures. I would definitely recommend Cool Sunshine to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

This company knows how to prioritize family needs. In a recent blizzard our furnace went out. They quickly came over and fixed the part. While the fix worked for a few days our ancient furnace decided to take a dive and completely stop working. Cool sunshine knew it was important that our family had heat and prioritized our appointment and installed a brand new furnace the very next day. They were Curtious, fast and very clean at both appointments. I would highly suggest them

The entire team at Cool Sunshine was amazing. We had an AC going bad so we had some time to schedule the replacement. Joy gave us 2 price choices for AC replacement, both aligned to what we had discussed. The week before the scheduled install, Joy reached out to confirm the date and workorder. The team of 3 installers showed up on-time with all the right equipment.
Later in the day a manager stopped by to confirm the work was done right, all setup and clean up was completed, and that I was satisfied with the work delivered. Overall a great service experience. Amazing teamwork at good price point.

We loved this whole experience. First, the estimator, Joy, was delightful, giving us many options with no pressure sales. We were able to schedule the install within a week of ordering. The installation technicians were friendly, clean and very professional with a great mind for detail. I would highly recommend this company! We will be using them for our furnace replacement soon!

Cool sunshine did a residential AC installation for us and I can honestly say it was a great experience from start to finish! Joy and Ivy are awesome and very communicative and the installers were very professional and knowledgeable with all of my thousand questions, they also covered all the flooring from the front door all the way to the furnace area to keep the floor clean.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They are personable and helpful with any concerns or questions you have and the prices for the service are very reasonable. I am glad to say that I felt comfortable spending my hard earned money on a great company knowing they will take care of me the way that they have! 5 stars service for sure!

Extremely professional, reasonably priced and punctual. We were referred to Cool Sunshine after getting 3 other quotes and Cool Sunshine came in 1st by a few hundred dollars to the second lowest bid. No sales pitch, no sitting down at the table for 1hr to sell you what they are providing. They knew what needed to be done and did not waste our time trying to up-sell.
Being a homeowner who is fairly skilled in home repair, I know better than to just go with the lowest cost. I tend to look for the signs of professionalism, and also have family in various trade professions, so their opinion is factored in. Jeff, Mitchell and their crew were exactly that. Jeff and Joy responded via phone and email promptly, and completed the job in the time frame they said they would. Here's where the added value comes in. we are homeowners of almost 6 years.
Our backyard has had no attention for its entire existence. I have been working non-stop in this yard. I have finally put it to a place where we are proud. (flagstone, pea gravel, etc) Where the old (and new fan) sit, is pretty close to the back gate. It had old railroad ties and was not pleasing to the eye. Sunshine not only replaced the fan but made sure to remove the railroad ties (had to for leveling purposes) and used the resources I left behind to level out the ground and make it look clean. (I unintentionally left a wheel barrel full of dirt, pea gravel and hand tools from my weekend warrior activities). So, not only did they do the job we paid them for, but they took it upon themselves to go above and beyond and complete approximately 1-2 hours of landscaping I expected to do after they left.
We had no expectations for this task, but you could just see the pride they took in their work, not just functionally but aesthetically. I strongly recommend Cool Sunshine and their professional capabilities.

HVAC is tricky as a typical consumer - you don't deal with it much and when you do it is usually because there is a problem. It can be hard to know who to trust and what to expect in terms of service and pricing. I was having furnace issues and the Cool Sunshine team was recommended to me by a friend. I am very glad I followed up on that recommendation.
The technicians were professional and friendly and did a very thorough job of diagnosing the issue and took the necessary time to discuss options with me. Ultimately I needed a new furnace and Cool Sunshine was able to get it installed within a day of diagnosing the problem. Pricing was straightforward and reasonable for the products and service I received.
The same technicians that had diagnosed the problem came to do the install which I think is big positive. They worked confidently and cleanly, and answered every question in a straightforward manner. The buff penguin logo is amazing as well.

I've been using them ever since they put our heating and cooling systems into a new build 6 years ago. Having them out twice a year to do preventative maintenance the engineers who came out were courteous, friendly, and always on time. The front office person, Joy, has always been accommodating to our timing needs and worked with us to have services done.
This week she went above and beyond to fit us into a packed schedule on Friday to have an engineer (Israel) come from Parker to Castle Rock to handle our urgent AC need. Israel arrived on time and worked efficiently to analyze our issue. Resolved it and took the time to show me what was going on, using their digital analytics system. Pricing is very fair and the comfort to us of jobs done properly is a real value to us.

We interviewed several companies to replace our aging A/C and furnace and were provided a ride range of opinions on equipment, install and cost. We decided we wanted a particular brand and efficiency of new equipment. Cool Sushine worked diligently to get us the best deal and was extremely patient with all our questions and requests. Use this company! You are going to spend a CHUNK of $ on the single most important element of your home's infrastructure, the heating & cooling system, and you DO NOT want to screw it up. Right? So start by going with the best integrated furnace/ac system available. Trane. Lots of cheaper systems available, emphasis on "cheap". Trane is the head of the class in performance, reliability, warranty.
And Cool Sunshine is the company I selected (after an extensive, exhaustive vetting) to install my decidedly cool, swanky system. Professional and competent to be sure. But they are really, really nice people to boot. AND, more importantly, of the 5 estimates from various HVAC companies, Cool Sunshine had the best price.by far. Seriously, save yourself a boatload of headache, grief and frustration and USE THIS COMPANY!

I would highly recommend Cool Sunshine Heating and AC for the following reasons: 1) Our furnace died in February after 24 years of service. I researched Heating and AC units. I selected Trane based on my research. I went to the Trane website and selected two Factory Authorized Installers, one of which was Cool Sunshine. 2) Cool Sunshine was able to meet in less than 24 hours.
Very timely. Joy evaluated the existing system, looked at the layout of the house and asked questions about warm and cool areas within the house. Based on her evaluation, she made a recommendation that made sense. She backed-up her shoice with data. We chose to go with Cool Sunshine based on timeliness, professionalism, Factory Authorized Trane rep., informed recommendation, and pricing. 3) A team of three persons led by Perry, started the next day, pulled a permit, completed furnace installation, installed a new thermostat, placed the AC (cannot finish AC installation until the temp is over 70 degrees) and answered all of my questions. 4) Cool Sunshine came back on a warmer day and completed the AC installation. 5) Communication was great and this was a text book install. A friend of mine referred this company to me when my heater went out. I was so worried that we might need a new furnace. I called and they had someone out that day. Our furnace has been running like a dream ever since. Our electric bill even dropped because the furnace was running more efficiently. We liked the service we received so much that we decided it was time to install ac.
Once again, they did a great job. We received quotes from 5 companies. They werent the cheapest but they were very reasonably priced. Joy was amazing to work with as was everyone i encountered from this company. My husband sums it up the best.
