A new furnace should last at least 15 years. Many new furnaces will last 20 years or more. Great customer service! Cliff and Joe gave us an attractive and competitive bid for the installation of our GENERAC standby generator. Matt and Ed were the installation team. Courteous, instructional and professional. Their work was excellent, and it was not an easily accessed install! Joe was their go to person and was on site. He was the technical advisor and resource supervisor. A valuable part of the process. We would highly recommend Cliff's.

Ed and Matt were the installers. They were both clean cut, on time, and Very Knowledgeable. The install came out beautiful. I am a very difficult customer and these guys handled me with patience and good manners! I've had them install an AC unit 10 years ago and have not had one issue! The Generator they installed today came out perfect I'm looking forward to the lights going out and having everything thing still work!

I would refer Cliffs to anyone looking to have an excellent HV/AC company on speed dial. I just can't say enough about how great Ed and Matt were! Quick, efficient, and clean. MM

We bought our Generac generator in November. From our consultation to install went exactly as planned. Eddie & Matt (installer's) were very polite and answered all of our questions. Fortunately, for us we have not had to use the Generac yet. I love the self test every Monday it completes, it gives me a piece of mind. I highly recommend Cliff's and thank you for making our purchase easy! The Miller's out in Otis.

Been using cliffs for many years. Just for regular maintenance and if there ever is a problem, they're on it. Shout out to Chris, who has serviced my generator many times. We have used Cliffs Heating and Air for the last 16 years! They have been nothing but honest, prompt and have shown us great customer service. Our heat went out last week and they were able to come out right away to fix it. Shout out to Hunter the nice tech who was friendly and courteous. He also completed the work quickly and was able to "heat us back up" in no time at all. I would highly recommend them. Thanks to all of those at Cliffs Heating and Air great job.

Cliff's installed our heating and air conditioning, and we never failed to call them to inspect the systems to keep up with our warranty. Our warranty ended, but we kept calling Cliff's for yearly maintenance, especially since a small "pin" on the furnace causes the entire system to shut down when it collects dirt. This year, Cliff's wouldn't make a service appointment near Christmas as they were closed. (This was not for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.) Since that Christmas week was the only time my husband was off work, he called a competitor instead.

After having watched Cliff's techs over the years, he was shocked to watch as this tech from the competition took apart sections of the furnace that Cliff's never even touched in the 10 years of warranty maintenance. He inspected and cleaned everything in amazing detail. Now we wonder if that pin got clogged simply because Cliff's techs never bothered to do a thorough cleaning. We'll wait and see what happens next year! We will not be calling Cliff's again.

They just installed a new furnace on Tuesday. It's not working now. Friday night. I called and no emergency number. Left a message and "Joe" was so rude. I want them to take it and I'll go thru a company that is reputable.

What a great experience! Cliffs installed a generator at my home. The professionalism and service was over the top. The crew even removed some fencing that was in the way and hauled it away. Leah filled out the info for my free gift and submitted it for me. Everyone really went above and beyond. I could not be any happier. I would highly recommend Cliffs!

I had Cliff's install a Generac 16kw generator and couldn't be happier. I elected to use the financing package they offer that allows me to pay back the cost if installation at 0% APR for 18mos. I dealt with Joe every step of the way and he couldn't have been more professional and friendly, from the estimate process to repairing appliances that took a shock, everything worked out.

Due to an unforeseen technical problem, the new unit sent a surge through my house that roasted a few items that were plugged in or connected to power. Cliff's response was immediate, and everything I replaced that was fried got reimbursed right away. Living in the region, I suffered many sleepless nights before from power loss, summer and winter, but now I sleep easy and watch TV when my neighbors' houses are dark. Buying a house generator is one if the best things I have ever done and I encourage anyone thinking about it to call Cliff's.

Dont do it! What a terrible experience! I guess you get what you paid for. Shame on me. They beat the other quotes and now I see why. Shame on them. After way too many hours with people that I think were hired off the street with little or no training, I still did not have functioning equipment by the time they were done. On to day two and I wish they had sent somebody else out, I got the same inexperienced lost workers as we did the first day. Slobbish, foul language, horseplay, cigarette butts thrown on my property, distateful music in my basement and my yard, numerous breaks just sitting on my property on cell phones.

God forbid you have to call and explain the situation to the secretary. CLUELESS. Clearly just a phone answerer. I would prefer to never have a conversation with either of the owners ever again. I definitely know that nobody I know will ever have to deal with them, because I would never refer to this company. If you're going to own a business you should be an expert in the trade.

Fast forward to the call back that I had to make to hopefully get all the problems and glitches fixed, and to actually have functioning systems like I paid them to do. FINALLY a new employee, well, new to my home. Within 20 minutes he was able to point out what had been done wrong and what would need to be done to fix it. Its magic! Someone that knows what they are doing. Ron was in and out in no time with all the problems fixed and was the first professional person we had spoken to from that company.

Between the two workers the two owners and the secretary, what an awful experience. time consuming, schedule interrupting and unprofessional. Thank you Ron for your professionalism and expertise, and the fact that you actually cared about our situation and experience. Kudos to you young man. As for this future service, etc. unless I am guaranteed to get the same young man, we will go elsewhere, no matter the price. If the owners and other employees don't care about their livelihood then neither should I.

Had Cliff's come out last October (2015) to replace a 48 year old furnace and AC in the property we rent out. Of the two other places I received quotes from (Meyer's and Jack's) I went with Cliff's. The whole process went smooth. They installed a good quality, American made York forced air furnace and AC warranted for ten years parts and labor. Installation took about a day.

Good install and ductwork (sheet metal) looks great transitioning into the old. Had one small issue about a week later, the wire harness was not completely plugged into the main board on the furnace properly (it needs to click in) the blower motor vibration probably caused it to wiggle out. I found that myself and snapped it back in all was good to go.

Before I fixed that, I called them to come out. It was a Sunday I left a message and they called me right back and were going to send someone out right away. I am planning on using them to replace the system in my own home later this year.

June 2016 York HVAC system installed. I used Cliffs (Schererville on Kennedy Ave) back in 2013 for rental property and now again for my home HVAC. York units have been very dependable and made in the USA. Ron, Joe, and Cliff are great guys and pros at what they do. Almost 100 years of experience just between those three guys. Highly recommended. They take care of all the warranty registrations (10 years parts and labor on everything), and provide NIPSCO rebate forms, Manufacturer Rebate, and Tax Credit forms. My only suggestion is that the office do a courtesy call the day before to confirm appointments. You will be happy if you use them.

We called Cliff's so after getting many quotes and they were the most reasonable, we needed furnace, a/c, and new vents and they were very professional and all the guys busted their butt. They kept their mess to a minimum and they cleaned what they could possibly clean. We will use them definately again and we recommend them for anyone if you need a reliable and good company as this was a scary purchase because we didn't know and did not want to get shafted, but they were on time use them if you ever need someone in heating and air.

If you are looking for a heating and cooling professional keep on looking. You don't want to waste your time and money on hiring Cliff's to NOT fix the problem and charge you $$$$ in the process! I had to hire another heating professional to really fix my furnace; losing nearly $300 to Cliff's in the process. They've lied to me on numerous occasions. Rude and unprofessional, that's Cliff's!
