We had water running down our first floor wall. Tim from Christy's came and took care of the problem. He traced where the water was coming from and showed us that in the wall behind the shower the copper pipes had holes. We have had a few of these pinhole leaks before but none that caused so much damage. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and explained the situation to us. He took care of everything that day plus he cleaned up good, including the drywall mess. Shout out to Tim!

Beware of hidden costs. While I am satisfied with the quality of the repair and the professionalism of the technician, I was annoyed that they charged $50 to use a tool called a ProPress. Imagine going to a car mechanic and being told that they would charge extra to use a different tool. In addition, I was charged for 1/2 hour of travel time even though I live, in traffic, 15 minutes from the shop. I spoke to the owner (after calling twice) who was unapologetic about the extra charges.

My experience with Christy Plumbing and Heating was excellent. I had a pinhole leak in a pipe in my basement. It wasn't too serious of a leak and they were able to get me on the schedule for the following day. They showed up on time, were able to diagnose the issue promptly, had the materials to fix it with them and took care of it. Charge was about $200 which I found to be entirely fair and reasonable.

Most companies charge at least $100 just for the service call. They also looked at couple other random issues that I was having and made some adjustments to address those issues (all of which are much improved) at no charge to me. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again should the need arise.

We are selling our house and buyers' inspection said there was a clog at the house trap. As a large family, plus just hosted another family of 5 for a week, we didn't believe there was a clog, however, agreed to hire a plumber as part of closing. Tim called a day early and said there was a cancellation and could he come for the appointment. We agreed and explained the situation.

Over the phone he said, "I can come, but we often can't get our cameras through cast iron pipes. I can't guarantee after I come out, they'll even get their cameras through" We agreed to have him come as we were under contract to but LOVED his honesty! He was WONDERFUL. Turns out he was right, no clog. But our bill was exactly what he stated, no lies for extra services, no hidden fees. Will definitely hire again!

Not pleased, at all, with Christy. We had them out in October to deal with a backed up basement drain. Charged over $200 for materials and labor. 2 weeks later we had the same issue. When calling to discuss, we were told that the owner of the company would call us back in 1-2 days. Another week went by.no call from owner. Finally got them to come back out today, and it cost ANOTHER $222.

This was (supposedly) with the cost of the eel being waived. Different plumber out today.his response, "well maybe the first guy wasn't as thorough". So, overall experience? First plumber may not have been thorough enough, according to the second plumber. "Owner will call you back today or tomorrow to discuss" translates to no phone call, at all, until I call again the next week. And, of course, no guarantee on clearing drains. So, if the first guy's lack of thoroughness resulted in the job not being done right, that's unfortunate for the customer. Makes me wonder if TODAY'S plumber was thorough enough, or if we'll have a problem again in 2 weeks.

The best part? Their labor guarantee on the receipt reads, "The labor charge as recorded here relative to the equipment serviced as noted, is guaranteed for a period of 30 days". VERY disappointed, and will be sharing with friends and family.

I have had work done in the past by Christy Plumbing, and as usual, they deliver quality work, done right the first time. I value their willingness to make sure the customer is satisfied with the work. I have had hot water heaters installed, boilers repaired, and most recently toilet and faucet repairs. All work done professionally and reasonably priced. Thanks!

Called Chtisty because of a gas smell in my basement, Joe the owner said he would right out came in about a half hour. Checked my oder, gas line out side was the problem, Christy does not do that kind of work. But Joe got me in touch with a plumber that does, and did not charge me for his time great guy great company. Ould call him again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

We had used Christy Plumbing for many years but on the last project that they did for us they provided poor service at a high price and did not complete the repair. I had to go to Home Depot rent a snake and complete the repair myself. They also took the part we needed to reconnect the toilet and refused to return it. We had to buy parts that they took. We will never use them again. Find someone else!

We had a stoppage in our sewer line on a weekend that completely blocked wastewater from leaving our house. it also backed up into our basement. We needed it fixed ASAP, so we called Christy and Steve Poremski came out and spent a good part of the day fixing it. He was fantastic; really friendly, explained everything that was going on, and did great work. I can't imagine having gone with anyone else.

If you like your house, don't call Christy's. Had a clogged drain in the second floor bathroom, called Christy's to fix. They came the next day, and were there about 1/2 hour, during which time, my husband had to reset the breaker, because oddly enough, the lights went out during the snaking of my pipe, actually now, we know, he put his equipment through my pipe and was snaking my wall.

Not sure about damage to the electric, quite sure about the damage to my living room, since the drain leaked into it. Ceiling bubbled, walls are leaking, took 4 days to show, walls have bubbles of water, had to drill two holes to let water out of ceiling. Christy's now states even if they went through my pipe, it would be my problem because that would mean my pipe is old.

Not so fast, why would I ever call a plumber, if when they damaged something, it would still be my fault? Wouldn't I just give it a try myself? Ridiculous! NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE!

I had to pay $185.00 to have a pair of glasses removed from my toilet. I was charged $85 for the cost of having a service man come and over $100.00 for him to move the toilet in order to get the glasses. He also replaced a stopper and an intake valve (which I learned later really wasn't necessary). He also told me that my toilet was very old and if I would like a new one they will provide a new toilet for me and install it at $500 - $600.

Within a week there was some form of pressure from inside toilet tank that was gradually increasing and creating a water hammer on one of my pipes. It took me a while to understand what happened --- but, this problem occurred when the Christy Service man physically moved the toilet to get the glasses -- and the Ball component got accidentally shoved around.

When I called Christy Plumbing --- I was told that I had to pay an additional $85.00 to have a service come and evaluate what their prior service man did with my toilet. I was taken advantage of by this firm. I wouldn't give them any star - but you had to choose at least one.
