Called them AFTER HOURS because my air conditioning wasn't working, they had a tech in my driveway in 25 minutes. The following day was supposed to be 91 degrees and it was 88 degrees inside on a 70 degree day without air. Tech took extra time to make sure everything was good and did an excellent job but the amazing thing was having someone come so quick after hours in my opinion

We got 13 inches of snow this morning so of course today would be the day my furnace blows cold air. I called other companies and they couldn't get to me due to the weather but Bear Heating and Greg made it happen. Greg was so friendly and knowledgeable. Prior to calling Bear Heating and Cooling of Girard, Ohio, I was referred to a couple of Heating and Cooling businesses who could not find why my furnace wasn't working but advised me I, definitely needed new parts for the furnace to work again. Realizing if I didn't find the right Heating and Cooling business, I would keep distributing money all for not.

So I went to the directory and found Bear heating & Cooling, Inc, 214 West Liberty Street, Girard, Ohio. They gave me an estimated date and time of arrival for service, in addition, they advised they would call ahead of time to let me know they were coming and did so minutes beforehand. The Technician, Greg, from the beginning displayed professionalism, in addition, he was very intellectual when confronted with the complicated areas of his work.

He explained in detail with patience everything he did relating to the work on my furnace, and then advised me of my options. There are not too many businesses in general that employ professional employees like Greg! Just talking to him while he worked was very educational to me. I would like for Greg to be the technician to work on my furnace if ever needed again!

I would like to thank Bear Heating and Cooling for sending me, in my eyes their top technician to service my furnace and would request for Greg to return to my residence if ever needed in the future! And Jim, keep recruiting good professional employees like Greg! You can't go wrong!

We had them install a new HVAC system on our old house. Best price around. Efficient. Called them to do a check on our new house. Could've told us we needed a whole new system but was honest and we only needed a maintenance check. Will use them over and over!

Absolutely best in business! Installed new gas line from meter all the way to utility room, 100' of 1.5 black pipe with lots of tricky turns above drop ceiling as well as Reznor garage heater. Attention to detail is what sets these guys apart in my opinion, not money hungry like bigger companies are. Jim and his team are true professionals in HVAC field.

Wow I was so happy with the service I received from Jim. My AC stopped working. Made appointment for them to come out. He was polite professional and very prompt! When we went outside to look at the unit he opened it up and there was a huge bees nest inside! He went above and beyond and killed the bees and fixed the AC unit! Best of all at no charge! I would highly recommend this company!

Jim at Bear Heating & Cooling was a WONDERFUL & KNOWLEDGEABLE man to deal with. Another company told us such a "story about my parents furnace & ac unit" that we almost spent unnecessary amounts of money but Jim came in (quickly) and saved us. He was so honest with us. He told us the furnace was under warranty and that we only had to pay for labor (which was so much lower than I expected). I would absolutely recommend Bear Heating & Cooling to anyone. I had a new furnace put into my home about 1.5 years ago by another company. I had nothing but problems with the furnace and no solutions. I finally called Bear Heating & Cooling. I was not used to being treated like I mattered and not crazy. They seen it was an intermittent problem and started troubleshooting. They even called the people that made the furnace for any ideas.

I purchased a new air and heating unit a couple of years ago and I had no problems with it and the price and quality is the best around. This company is very reliable and dependable to call day or night. I had a situation where my electric was flickering on and off.
