Arctic replaced my A/C system in my house 3 years ago. Absolutely perfect in every respect. I scheduled a maintenance service for today. Three years later and the service was still great. The technician that came to my house was on time, respectful and very pleasant. He explained all of his findings. Mynor was a good guy and he got the job done quick. I would recommend him and Arctic any time.

Excellent service at a very fair price. Kyle Weltman was my technician and was superb. Very nice personality, and clearly cares about doing the job correctly. The job was also done quickly compared to similar jobs I've had done by other plumbers.

Pat Gilligan did an excellent job repairing our old Trane A/C unit. He showed up on time, was pleasant and professional, and correctly diagnosed and repaired our system. The price was fair and reasonable. I would be happy to have Pat handle any future repair needs we might have. Also, Arctic Air was able to send out a repair person within a day of my call which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend them.

We used Arctic Air to install two new A/C units, new furnace, and new ductwork in all the bedrooms. This was to update an existing house, to keep both floors of our house evenly cooled. The work was extremely neat/clean. The temperature has been very consistent and comfortable even on the hottest days. It's been working smoothly for 3 years so far (with annual maintenance).

My technician Matt was absolutely professional, knowledgeable and honest. I recommend Arctic to anyone who needs service. Other companies out there just want to rip people off by telling them they need this and that and the other and then charge you thousands but with Arctic you get honesty and amazing service. Thank you Arctic and Thank you Matt my tech for getting me out of the scorching heat and my children back to their home. God bless you all. -kat

I want to thank Arctic Air for replacing my broken Water Heater within hours of me calling them before 8am this morning. They send 2 great technicians, Kyle and Alex, that were the BEST. They were friendly, professional and did an awesome job. They even wiped up a small amount of water that was left on my basement steps from removing the old water heater.

They exceeded my expectations and their willingness to dispatch immediately has me a customer for life. I highly recommend them for any of your Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing or Electrical needs. Thanks Kyle and Alex!

Arctic Air employees are always pleasant and informative for service appointments. Today's technician, Leo, was no different. Did a great job and was very friendly, so much that my daughter commented, "he's nice" :

We realized our furnace stopped working so called Arctic to stop by and check it out. They replied and sent someone same day. Communication was great and easy. I got texts with the time, the person was coming, and their photo so I knew who to expect. The technician diagnosed the problem; they first looked for replacement parts but because our HVAC was on the older side (2005), we had to replace. Arctic helped coordinate the contract and explained the options via email.

Once we signed and confirmed- They sent two people to replace that same week. The people they sent were on time, fast, professional and removed our old system quickly and cleanly. I felt the pricing was fair after researching online. They were good about telling us how it worked once installed and how to call if issues. All in all very pleasant experience start to finish and now we have heat and AC again!

Now I can see why this company has terrible reviews, a tech came out to our rental property (where we do not live) to give us a quote on some work we wanted done to our property, I believe he quoted us a very affordable price and the "master plumber" wasn't happy about it. He called me and told me he needed to review the work him self, he told me he would come back the next day, I told him I had contractors there ready to open the floor so he can preform the work so I just wanted to make sure to coordinate them at the same time the floor was open.

I made it clear my husband didn't get out of work until 3:30. He said he would tell me what time he can come by calling me in the morning I asked if it would definitely be after 3:30 and he said yes, I never received that call in the morning and I received a text message about him on the way at 2:45pm, my husband wasn't home yet and I couldn't meet him there that early since I also work from home. he entered my home without permission without ever calling me, I then received a text message with another quote from "Sal the master plumber" saying they respectfully decline doing any work at my home.

That was fine with us I just thought it was extremely unprofessional the company told us two different things and then didn't have the courtesy to call and tell us why they decided to decline the work. I find them unprofessional and unreliable. they should send people out that know what they are talking about the first time to give estimates. I bet their estimates change all the time. Beware!

Unsure how this company has so many amazing reviews. Got a brand new furnace and AC installed in August of 2020 which has given us nothing but issues since then. Our heating bill last month was $344 for a small 1300 sq ft house due to the heat constantly running trying to keep the house warm. We have called the company out numerous times already due to the temp in our house being almost 10 degrees off from what we have it set to.

Every time they "fix" a minor problem but the issues never go away. Finally after speaking to a manager, they sent someone else out this week who discovered that Arctic Air installed our return duct incorrectly and it's blocking off almost 50% airflow. I then had to argue with the manager to convince them to come out on a weekend to fix the issue they caused as I cannot continue to take off even more vacation days from work while waiting around for arctic air to come.

They have done nothing to compensate me for the 1.5 years of high heating bills and numerous days I've had to take off from work other than a "sorry for the inconvenience". Do not recommend.

Entire process was smooth, I was able to get an appointment the very next day, arctic air sent me a text with the photo on technician ahead of time, so I know who to expect. Fred was on time, very courteous and knowledgeable. He put drop cloth to ensure my home didn't get dirty, he was very careful not to create any mess and he answered all my questions patiently. It took 2-3 hours and overall it was a very good install. + I paid the exact amount I was quoted, there were no surprise costs

Made an appointment two weeks ago. Made a phone call to double confirm the appointment three days ago. Then this morning, when I am waiting for the appointment at home they told me they can not come because it is too cold. Today is Nov 19, 2021. How cold it can be in NJ to prevent a double confirmed appointment? Worst company ever! Avoid doing any busyness with these guys!

I recently moved in Manalapan and need to find a reliable company to install my Heating and AC unit. After careful research, I decided to go with Artic Air. I am so happy with service. They are very knowledgeable and understand my needs. They answered all my questions before and after the install. This company is simply the best in my opinion.

Worst company ever. Came out 2 times to install central air. Was suppose to install in April 2020. Did not install until Dec 2020. They came out inspected everything and set up date for install. Then the same day after paperwork signed he stated he wanted to see electric panel. Then he stated I needed to upgrade panel. Which they did. Air was installed end of December. Turned on 1st time in April and not holding temperature water dripping all over in basement from ducts.

They came out 1st they stated ductwork too small then too much moisture in basement. They stated I should of gotten ducts wrapped or replaced. Why didn't you tell me that before installation. Called Home Depot Corporate she stated she would have District Manager Rich call me. Well he came out to my house seen issues and try calling Artic Air and said he couldn't get anywhere with them. Then Rich called back said it would be $8800.00 to fix problem. Corporate was suppose to call me last week. Still waiting still not inspected. BEWARE.

I used Arctic Air conditioning and plumbing services for replacing my old toilets and repairing one of the toilets. Right from scheduling you have been periodically notified by them and the plumber arrived as per schedule. Adam Kovacs has done an excellent job in completing the work. He definitely was highly experienced and demonstrated high degree of professionalism during the work. I would definitely recommend Arctic for others and will continue to engage them for my future needs. Excellent job Arctic, thanks for everything.

Arctic Air Conditioning has been my "go to" for HVAC. I particularly appreciate the thoroughness of each service. They installed by furnace and central air. I rely on Arctic Air for regular maintenance which is the best. My furnace and central air unit have had no major repairs. I attribute this to the annual tune ups as regular maintenance. As my furnace will be 20 years old next year, I will be relying on Arctic Air for replacement. My A/C unit is newer but when it needs replacement I will be sure to contact Arctic Air. Oh and their rates are great!

Amazing service performed by Arctic Air today! My fiance called around noon today to see if we could have someone come out to our home as our heat wasn't working and they were able to make us an appointment for same day and gave us a window from 3-5. Brendan was our technician and he showed up at 3:05! He was knowledgeable and kind and even checked our carbon monoxide detector to ensure we were living in a safe home.

Whenever we need any future services we will be requesting him for sure. We have used other local services and they do not measure up to the service we received from Brendan!

Great experience all around. Quick turnaround for an appointment. Our "Comfort Advisor" Chris, arrived promptly. He was informative, patient, honest, and provided us with a number of options. Pricing was reasonable. They were not the least expensive but certainly not the most expensive. I would say they were reasonable but most importantly, you get what you pay for.

We paid for a reputable company that was local and would stand behind their work I believe Arctic is that company. Installers Sean and Joe Patrick arrived on time and worked hard through the day installing a new AC in our attic and condenser outside. Not an easy task. Both gentlemen were the epitome of professional and knowledgeable tradesmen. They were clean and neat and took the time to clearly explain all facets of the installation. I would strongly recommend Arctic Air Conditioning unconditionally. Remember, you get what you pay for so go with Arctic.

I just moved into a new home and unfortunately, the AC/Heating system was acting up because the previous owners didn't perform frequent maintenance. I originally contacted the last company that serviced the unit; however, they were already recommending I get a whole new air conditioning system. I Then contacted Home Depot for a second opinion assessment and they connected me with Artic Air Conditioning and Heating and sent out a technician named Brendan Fullerton.

He immediately told me that all that was recommended to me by the previous company was unnecessary. He stated that with committed care to maintaining my existing unit, I would be able to keep the unit a little longer to help me prepare for the day when it was really time to be replaced (it was an older unit). He provided such great service and brought so much energy to his job.

He was extremely knowledgeable about my unit and made it a point to want to educate me about how the system works so that I understood how to manage the system properly. i intend to use the company for future servicing as they do provide high quality service.

My HVAC (AC) is not blowing cold air anymore, so I went through HomeDepot to find repair service. The technician came (nice person) and since the coils are frozen he said they need to wait 24 hours to run diagnostics. The scheduling person called and said they will charge $45 per 15 minutes (i.e. $180/hr), until the find and fix the problem. So I said if I they are here for 6 hours, it's going to be close to $1,200 so I said no, .

She put he on hold and then she said she will not charge the continuous fee, so then I said how much to check if there is a leak, a ridiculous $350, what a rip off, plus refrigerant charge, which I totally willing to pay. I already paid $90 via HomeDepot for them to come and check the problem, which they haven't since they couldn't run the diagnostics. I'll be looking to someone else who is NOT GOING TO RIP ME OFF. DON'T HIRE them.

Whichever technician came to my old aged parents place yesterday. scammed them! Maybe I can't blame this company but I sure do blame this tech. Be wary when you work with anyone really. Ask questions constantly, ask for invoice/receipts (which he refused to give by the way)

Artic air came to me highly recommended, but i am disappointed with their service. This is my second review on them this month, yes i had to call the company twice for the same problem, every-time its a $450 bill. First of all I did not see anyone of the technicians who came ran a diagnostics test on the system. First time they said the problem was with the condensation water collection pump and replaced it and charged $450.

Next day the same problem with the system, so I called them back again. Second time they found the issue was with the thermostat and replaced the same. As i am replacing the thermostat i asked for a newer model, which they did not have or no proper justification for going with old one. So finally i ended up paying $900 for a $450 job, even with that i got a 6 year old model thermostat.

Very happy with our decision to have Arctic install central AC and a new furnace. Our systems were very old/inefficient and needed to be replaced. The new systems are more quiet, cleaner, and energy efficient. The house temperature and air quality is noticeably better, and very comfortable now. I wish we had called Arctic sooner! Excellent service from start to finish.

No high pressure sales from them and the price was comparable to another company we received an estimate from. Install team worked efficiently and neatly. Very professional and took the time to answer any questions we had. They showed us how to operate the new thermostat which looks like a mini iPad on the wall, and has an app which is a great feature to make changes or monitor the system remotely.

Very easy to use. We did purchase a sturdy cover from Arctic for our Lennox AC unit to protect it from the winter weather ($75 and it arrived 48 hrs. later by mail). Would highly recommend this company.

All of a sudden we had no hot water today. We called Arctic and they were at our house in less than 30 minutes. Amazing service, especially on a weekend. Turned out the tropical storm we had yesterday made the pilot light go out. Thank you very much Arctic for your very attentive service. We are lucky it wasn't more than a pilot light! I would highly recommend this company as they are always there to help and provide top notch service, especially when you need it most.

One star is being generous. When we had our AC and heat system replaced they were good, price was reasonable. They came back to do something minor and all of a sudden there was an attitude I didn't appreciate accused us of having someone else maintain the system, refused to honor manufactures warranty stating it expired. I call the company and they were happy to send the unexpired warranty certificate and offer any help. I would rather melt in 85 degrees than ever use this company again. So here's your shitty attitude back!

Had Arctic come for our annual service. Technician attempted to sell me everything from hot water heater conversions to replacing both AC units. When that failed, proceeded to tell both capicators had to be replaced, which I was reluctant to do but the technician reminded me more than once that having to come and fix this in the middle of the summer would be expensive and could take a while.

The final gut punch was the 4.5 lbs of Freon that need to be added, bringing a normal seasonal tune up to over $1000 Bill. Called the next day to speak with management, never received a call back. Lost customer here

I hired them to increase efficiency in my home under the NJ Energy Efficiency Program- almost $20k. They sold me on a new a/c, furnace, water heater, conversion to gas, and attic insulation with a guaruntee that I would still have storage ability. Everything went well besides the attic insulation which they contracted out to Tay River. Three months after installation, the attic project resulted in extreme moisture in my attic which is ruining the plywood of my roof and has ruined my belongings.

The company responded that "storage" meant things that wouldnt be affected by elements. Water?! I will most likely have to rip out everything they did up there so my roof doesnt get destroyed. So far, Arctic has not responded to this issue and has not provided me with a resolution. Although my issue is with the attic job specifically, they were the company I hired and at this point seem to be washing their hands clean of it. I will update my review if they respond and repair the situation.

This company is deceitful to customers, they quoted me for a AC\furnace unit replacement for our home. While we were still deciding and getting other estimates, the salesman sends me a text stating that prices might go up if we don't sign right away. This tactic is what car salesman do when they want you sign the contract. Two weeks later when we were ready to sign for the job to be done they increased the price on us.

They stated that it was due to tariffs imposed by the government. What a bunch baloney, i just believe they are trying to make extra money because we didn't sign right away. Watch out for this and want to let people be aware how they operate. They have good reviews that's why we looked into them but be careful of the lies they might tell.

Would give 6 stars if I could. Over the years Arctic has been to my house many times for routine maintenance. The staff is always courteous and pleasant and scheduling is easy. Recently, I called Arctic because I had much major issue with my A/C unit (not installed by Arctic). I worked with Andra C. She helped me so much and went extremely out of her way to make sure the manufacture honored its warrantee.

She was easy to talk to, professional and very courteous. Dealing with her was an absolute dream. The technicians (Matt A. and Eric R.) did the repair yesterday. They arrived timely, worked clean, explained everything that they accomplished and billed me the exact figure that Andra quoted me over phone. Couldn't be happier! Thanks Arctic!

It turns out that their advertised "FREE ESTIMATE" will actually cost you $109 for the service technician's visit. In the meantime, I was able to get 3 other HVAC companies to give me a REAL free estimate so I can compare and decide which to go with. Don't let these people lure you in with their phony advertisements. Be an educated consumer and shop around. Update on 4/12 (Reply to Business Owner): "Mr. Albert, thanks for your quick reply and attempt to clarify your policy.

Here are the two issues I have: 1) I have an AC unit that definitely needs replacement, I explained to your receptionist that I simply need someone to come down and give me an estimate so I can make an informed decision on who to go with for the job. She told me that there will be a $109 charge for the tech for his visit and diagnostics. I told her I don't need it diagnosed since I already know what's wrong with it.

She said your company doesn't rely on another company's diagnostics and needs to perform it's own. That's why there is the $109 charge for this "free" estimate. The other 3 companies I dealt with did not have a problem coming down (for free) to check out the system and give me an actual free estimate for its replacement. 2) Your website seems to promote the so-called "Free Estimate" on all of its pages.

It actually states - "Want a Free Estimate? Call Now!". So that's exactly what I did - but was told yes, the estimate is free, but then charge me $109 and call it a service fee. So it sounds like a free estimate with strings attached. This is misleading and disingenuous. Why doesn't your website make it clear under which specific conditions this estimate is free? This made a bad first impression on us so we decided to give the job to one of the other 3 contractors. Thank you."

So I just used this company for the first time and had a very positive experience. They initially confirmed my appointment by email and sent a reminder. I also received a text when the technician was on his way. Jesse arrived on time and was polite and professional. We hired them just for an AC maintenance/tune up. All went smoothly. He pointed one small issue with my condensation pump drain pipe.

He then installed a pvc union so that it can be opened and cleaned in the future to ensure it never gets clogged. That was only an additional $15 - very reasonable and made perfect sense. Overall it was a good job at a fair price.

In 2013, I purchased an air conditioner/furnace unit from Arctic Air Conditioning for $9500. Initial installation was not passed by the township inspector, so Arctic sent a technician to fix the problem. On 04/25/2017(4 years later), my house buyer inspector shared with us that there was a water leaking problem in the unit. A few days later, an Arctic technician identified the problem, and told us we needed to schedulean appointment with the Arctic office to get it fixed.

The office contact person, Pam, informed us the labor fee would be $450 (parts were provided for free from the Lennox company). I specifically asked her why the labor fee was so expensive, and Pam told me that it would require 2 hour of work; the first half hour would be $109, and each subsequent half hour would be $50. I asked her that I would like to talk to Howard (her supervisor), but she insisted that Howard was not available and I could not talk to Howard directly. Eventually, she agreed to give me a $25 discount since I am a senior citizen.

On 5/9/2017, Christian Vance came to fix the problem. He was very professional and courteous. My husband watched him fix the problem within half an hour. The estimate given to me by Pam was obviously much too high, being that we were being charged $425 for 30 minutes of work. I called Arctic again and explained to Pam that the labor fee we were quoted was too high, and we should only be charged $109 for the 30 minutes of labor that it actually took.

She insisted that she gave me $25 discount already and I should not ask more, and she was only giving an estimate of how long the work would be. This is obviously not true. I still remember very clearly, just one week ago, her insisting that it would require 2 hours work to fix the problem and she needed to charge me $425. She even told me that she does not care about what kind review I give your company or her reputation. Pam obviously does not care about Arctic's customers, being that she insists on overcharging senior citizens by more than $300.

She is incredibly inconsiderate and even lied about what her "estimate" really meant, and that I could not talk to her supervisor. On the other hand, I would like to thank the technician Chris for his honesty and great work. And he gave me $100 discount after he understood the situation. However, I still paid a very unreasonable price ($325) for an half hour work. Be careful when you deal with Pam.

My issues was relatively minor--some issues with my inducer motor and pressure switch--but the tech (Sal) came out to my house today and diagnosed the problem. He was kind and helpful, and he was willing to explain what he was doing while he did it. I wonder if all of the poor reviews come from people who are upset and thus willing to vent online (unlike the happy customers who aren't all that motivated to go online and submit reviews). Either way. I'd recommend them. Thanks, Sal!

Update- The owner called me and apologised for the botched job. He sent out another team to rescue the work and they worked hard for 6 hours to mitigate my concerns. So, I am a happy customer. It still sucks that I lost 6 hours from my work day. --------------------------- I had my AC installed by this company which is a subcontractor for local Homedepot.

It was a tough install due to not enough room for work in the attic and that makes the install a particularly expensive work. The installers were very nice and I was happy with them until I get a chance to review their job. Instead of new lineset as per contract, they reused the old lineset. The places they have cut corners will put the entire install as a amature gameshow.
