Calcana Report

Their tube heaters have low combustible clearances, as compared to overhead gas patio heaters with glowing ceramic tiles. Calcana outdoor heaters include an intensity control that allows you to dial in the comfort level from 50% to 100%. The Calcana standard models can heat large areas in indoor and semi-enclosed areas and can be fitted with exhaust ducting.

Outdoor heaters are now banned in several European countries and will very likely be banned in california after the pandemic's effects have waned in the next six months. It is probably not wise to buy these only to have their public use be prohibited shortly.

I purchased two heaters from Alfresco Heating in March of 2021. I had issues with what appeared to be incorrectly (from the factory) packaged elements. Alfresco customer service was very easy to work with and very fast in helping me get my issue resolved. 10/10, highly recommended.
