Paid cash for a unit less than 24 months ago and the unit ALREADY has to have major parts repair. From their perspective it's the AC manufacturers issue which I can "somewhat" understand however, it took 3 days to get the issue diagnosed it's now day 5 and I'm still without air. Needless to say I can't have another company come in and repair it because it's under warranty through Air Control.
To top it all off they are charging me a diagnostic fee, a fee to go pick up the repair parts and a fee to repair the unit. Don't know if this is common but thought I would share my experiences. So do your research when looking for AC companies.

My AC shut off in the middle of the night, and the house was very hot this morning. I called Air Control immediately. Mike Crockett came out to the house. on Saturday. within about three hours of my call. on a Saturday. Excellent response! Mike quickly assessed the problem and was able to get us fixed, up an running, and cool again. before game time. Excellent service! Thank you, Mike!

Erik, Saved the day. hot Florida summers, of course, year old HVAC starts to blow hot air inside smh. Initial vendor who installed the unit, too busy to assist. Well, not this company. I highly recommend Air Control Heating & Cooling for all of you heating and cooling needs. We had a new unit installed (inside unit, outside unit and all new duct work) we went with the 3.5 ton 16 seer Carrier system. They provided excellent customer service and were very professional from the start. I requested a quote online and got a call back in the matter of minutes to schedule. Curt come out on a Saturday to provide a quote, no other company that we contacted would come out on a weekend or after 5pm.
We did get 3 quotes from different companies, no one come in with a lower quote than Air Control, but that's not the only reason we we chose Air Control. Not only did Curt come out on a Saturday, he also took about 45 minutes to walk around our home with us, took pictures but he also explained to us what things they would upgrade or replace and what systems were more energy efficient. Curt also told us if we needed them for anything before the install day let him know.
We scheduled the install the day after Memorial day (June 1st and 2nd), but the Thursday before, we come home at 5:45 pm and had no AC! I shot Curt a text which he replied to immediately and the next morning we had AC again. When install day came around 3 trucks, 1 with a trailer and 6 men arrived on time ready to get started. Austin and his crew were friendly and professional.
They got it all knocked out in the 2 days scheduled. Day 1, they got the new inside, outside units, new cutoff switches, new drain lines all installed and working so we had AC that evening. The next morning, Day 2, Austin and his crew arrived on time. They tore out all the old ducting and installed all new ducting in out attic on a hot June day. They all remained professional, courteous and friendly even with it being so hot.
After finishing they hauled everything away, Austin even used a shop vac in our garage and on our driveway, making sure to leave nothing behind. We will be using Air Control for all of our HVAC needs in the future! Thanks Curt, Austin and all of the wonderful employees at Air Control Heating & Cooling! P.S. they even sent us a thank you card in the mail:)

Air Control installed my new Carrier system in June 2020 and I could not be more happy with their service and my unit. They were very professional and prompt. My system was installed in one day and that included cleaning all of my air ducts and vents. I love my new Ecobee voice controlled thermostat too. The system they replaced was one they had installed for me back in 1997, so I am familiar with their service. I would not use anyone else. I also appreciate the fact that all of the service technicians that came inside my house wore masks. Thank you.

From the beginning Curt came out to my home and looked over what we needed, he gave me a quote the same day and Ordered the unit for me as soon as i decided to go with Air Control. Because of Covid it took a few days to get it in his hands but the day he got it he called me and had his guys out here the next day (Curt also dealt with all my pesky questions without getting annoyed while we waited on the unit and never made me felt like I was bothering him).
The 3 guys who came where amazing. The lead guy (cant remember his name) was awesome he showed me how to use my fancy new thermostat, checked my duct work and checked the system multiple times before they left. They where here all day and worked steady the entire day to make sure i had AC today after 3 weeks with no AC. Moral of my rant is I highly recommend Air Control and will be using them in the future.

My whole experience from start to finish was great. The dispatcher was kind and prompt to Mike Crockett who came out very fast. Called ahead of time, was patient and asked questions. Very knowledgeable and concise. He diagnosed the system and quickly found the problem and went above and beyond to get it taken care of for my parents. He got out to my parents house extra early this morning due to rain the previous day so my parents didn't have to go through another hot day. My parents are so happy and I am as well. Thank you Air control and Mike you guys did a great job.
