Air Connection is a locally owned and operated company offering personalized sales and service to both commercial and custom residential properties. At Air Connection, our goal is to design a heating and/or air conditioning system that ensures comfort and completely satisfies the need, lifestyle and environment of our customers. We are unique in that we have the ability and expertise to custom-fit your needs.
Services
We work closely with builders, architects, and engineers to share information and ensure the most efficient project design and installation. Because each project is different, we find that it works best to discuss the specifics in person. This site collects and processes information that you provide.
COLUMBIA - A new science lab set to rise soon at Columbia College may be the first large building in the region to be heated and cooled with the help of holes bored hundreds of feet into the bedrock below. A drilling rig Tuesday began grinding its way through dark metamorphic rock to create a test well that will determine the feasibility of the plan.
Thermal conductivity testing, also known as "in situ testing, " is done for vertical loop installations for commercial buildings. A bore hole that can be used for the future ground loop is installed with polyethelene pipe and grout. A controlled test measuring time, water flow, and rejected heat is conducted for a period of 36-48 hours.
For residential projects, Air Connection typically designs the entire geoexchange mechanical system. We do our best to integrate the equipment and delivery system in a way that honors the architectural integrity of the building. For commercial projects, we usually work directly with the project engineer and architect in the system design.

Beth at Air Connection was so incredibly helpful to me in spite of knowing, due to the specific quirky nature of my project and my region, she would probably have to refer out the project elsewhere. She spent 15 minutes educating me on every possible parameter to consider in deciding what type of system to choose. They've been installing geothermal air conditionings over 20 years. They are the OBVIOUS choice for anyone in Northern California. Thank you, Beth!
