Tony did a great job for us. He repaired our A/C after we had new siding installed. The fixtures were left on the ground next to the A/C unit. My husband attempted to reinstall the components and got a NASTY shock. He was wearing plastic soled shoes and doesn't have a pacemaker, so it was a matter of discomfort only. Mere moments prior to his experience I was next to him and we were handling the the parts at the same time.

I chose the right time to check on the dog or whatever. Anyway, as soon as my husband told me he got shocked I decided it was time to call A-Temp. They we able to send Tony to the rescue within 24 hours. He was very efficient and skilled. He solved the problem in less than 30 minutes. I was also pleased to learn that A-Temp has electricians on staff.

We need to have some electrical work done, aside from the A/C. I have dreaded trying to hire an electrician. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted, just knowing A-Temp is a full service company. Comfort Club membership at A-Temp is worth every penny. Clark and his partner installed a heat pump for me, and they were great to work with. They didn't make a mess, they got the job done faster than predicted, they were polite and friendly, and everything looks nice and is working well thus far. We needed some maintenance on our 30+ year old furnace and AC units. Wiley was great. He honored our request for a mask when interacting with us (due to a high-risk family member). He was knowledgeable and showed us all of his concerns with our appliances and did what he could to leave us with safer appliances than we had before. Absolutely recommend.

Ricky was timely, clean, and a clear communicator. He even checked in to make sure our curious cat was an indoor only pet and complimented our home improvements. Peter from A-Temp came to quote a new furnace for my Mom's home that is selling. He was very nice, cordial, explained model and pricing options well. I am waiting for him report. I called A-temp because my 1970 era gas furnace wasn't working. The repair man checked it out and claimed that it had a bad circuit board and that that board was not available to his company. He recommended that I replace the furnace with a new system with a range of $6,000 to $12,000. I asked if they could order the board and he said they couldn't reliably guarantee it. So, I ordered the circuit board and installed it. Unfortunately, it was not the circuit board that was causing the problem.

I was very unhappy that 1, he could not repair old furnaces, and 2. misdiagnosed and charged for the misdiagnosing. If you need repair on an old furnace, I suggest you look elsewhere.

A-temp was fantastic. We needed a replacement furnace and a new central air conditioning unit plus repair and replacement of some duct work. The team was on-time every day and they did great work. The furnace is SO quiet compared to our old one. They were communicative and took a lot of pride in everything being done well. I'm sorry to say that they had to hang out in our crawl space for a couple of days to do the work, because that cannot have been comfortable :/ We're resting easy now, knowing we have great filtration, a highly efficient furnace, and we're prepared for the summer in case we get high temperatures again.

Friendly, helpful service provided by company technicians. (Lee is great!) No worries about our HVAC with regular maintenance service provided by A-Temp. They have even conscientiously kept our 25-year-old central air operating perfectly, rather than sell us a new unit. Their thoughts: "If it's still doing a good job, why replace it"? More money for me to do other needed renovations!

My furnace broke (draft motor was running and no heat), so I called the guys, they came in tested it, found no issues charged me $170 for diagnostics and left. Well the furnace is keep having the same problem, so I called them again, and they said that since it's been three weeks they would have to send a technician and do another diagnostic for $170, or I can replace my entire unit then they can wave it. So no warranty on the work they have done, the issue is not fixed and instead of performing the repairs they are trying to push 10K worth of new equipment

HVAC went out so i called the business that has substantial reviews. They were able to come out within a few days. Charged a lot more than the other businesses to come out ($170) so i thought it was worth it. They said the tech that comes out has everything in their vehicle to repair the system the same day. When he came out on Friday, he did all the tests to make sure its still safe and said the inducer motor went out and that he would have to order it.

This would also be a $1000 plus cost of parts to fix and I might want to buy a new furnace. When he called the vendor, he said their system was down and would try next Monday. So I waited, and when i didn't hear back from him I called. They said they were still looking into it and would call later. A few days later i still didn't hear and called them again. AGAIN they said they weren't sure and were looking into it.

I finally called the vendor myself and they said their system wasn't down and they couldn't sell me the part unless I was a business. I finally found the part locally and was able to replace the motor myself only costing me $150. A-Temp has finally called me back 4 weeks later wanting to schedule an appointment. Great service guys. I gave 2* because they were the fastest to come take a look at it.

We had our electric breaker panel replaced and increased to 150 amp service. They were expensive but went with them as everyone in town was busy. I noticed that they did not get a permit that is required for this type of work. After several attempts to get them to pull a permit which took several calls over several weeks they finally pulled a permit.

After several weeks wirh no inspection I called and was told that the electrical work was inspected, I thought that this was wrong as the inspector would have to gain access to my home to inspect. After two months I had my new ac electrical inspection and was told by the electrical inspector that my electrical panel needed to be inspected. I told him that I was assured by A-Temp that it had been inspected which after a call to his office he said no one had called from A-Temp to have it inspected yet.

All this is very frustrating and all I get fro A-Temp is excuses. Please be careful when dealing with this company they either don't know what they are doing are they don't care if you paid in full the day of installation. They are very dishonest in their representation of what they tell you!

Had A-Temp come out to do another bid on installing AC for my house. The gentleman asked a few questions after remembering he had come out before, then verbally quoted me a thousand more than last time. He pressured to get me to buy on the spot, but I told him I was collecting bids to make an informed decision. He said he would email it over, never did. Bids are standard practice for making good decisions, not the most professional experience. Now they aren't being considered as I don't have a bid/quote to compare against the competition.

They recommend repairs that are not needed. They were going to charge me 350 for a sump pump that costs only 42 online. I hate to do this but people need to be warned.

After coming to our home for an estimate, I called back to try to schedule the work. I called the office three times in two days and left messages each time, with the assurance that I would receive a call back. I never did. I called a 4th time, finally reaching the tech. I asked him what to expect on the visit, and he said- measurements, photos and paperwork.

I explained that it was an insurance claim and that either I would pay them or my insurance company would. No mention of any money, down payment or deposit was mentioned by him or the manager, when I called to schedule his visit. After he arrived and did the measurements, etc.and again went over the initial estimate, I asked him how long I had to pay it.

He said 15 days, which was acceptable, since my insurance company was prepared to deposit the money to me immediately. I then asked him when he would start. At that time, I was told that 1/2 the money, $1,700 was required BEFORE an appointment could be made. Now, at no time during my initial estimate, calls to the scheduling manager x2, or the installers call to me or prior to him going through our home was I informed of this.

This amount is OUTRAGEOUS. I told him so. His reply, they have been burned by making appointments without money. I can understand a deposit, but $1,700? Who has that amount, right on the spot? And who would agree to that being paid up front? This company is unreliable in that I had to constantly chase them for business and then they wanted to gouge my wallet. My advice- contact another company- any company, which we did, hey no down payment or deposit required, and I got immediate response.

I hadn't posted a review yet in hopes that they'd take care of the issue. Nope. 2 stars, and only for the courtesy and professionalism of the installers. No problems with them, other than the promise of paperwork returned within 2 weeks so I could get my inspection. After 4 weeks I called and was told it's really 6-8 weeks but they'd get it out tomorrow because my basement ceiling was still open, waiting for the inspection. Nope. Called again at 6 weeks and was told 6-8 weeks. It's now 10 weeks and no paperwork. Get promises in writing.

Needed an HVAC service as part of my home sale. A-Temp was quick to respond, very professional and had great communication. Shane was awesome, COVID compliant, professional/friendly and did a great job of explaining everything they tested/performed. Highly recommend A-Temp!

Five stars from top to bottom. Always the A-team with A-temp. Certainly not the cheapest service. When your getting one of those big ticket household projects it always pays to get the people who know what there doing and use quality products. 10 year guarantee for parts and labor provides that extra peace of mind if anything goes haywire till 2030! It feels good to get quality work done by a locally owned company.

Extremely expensive. 149 for someone to come out and figure the problem with my air conditioner--fine. I wish my tech would have consulted on the final price before conducting the rest of the service. Surprised me with a bill for a total of 388 for the actual fix which was replacing a single wire. Should have shopped around more. Maybe this price is standard but don't appreciate being surprised with a bill that is $239 more than what I was expecting. Tried to sell me a "membership" that was very clearly a rip off as well. That said my air con works now. just felt blindsided.

A-Temp gave a mid range price and did an excellent job. They were not the least expensive yet I am happy with their work. Scheduled me in two days. installed a new furnace in the attic for central Gas heating, removed the nonworking old electrical one, added central air with unit sitting on blocks outside the house, and digital thermostat. Everything works great! First, they spent 12 hours cleaning all the duct work of this fixer upper house.

They did not try to UPsell me - which was appreciated - the salesman recommended what he knew would be efficient for this 1350 square foot house. I asked about instaling air cleaner filters and he actually talked me out of it -saying unless I had a serious medical condition - didnt need to spent the extra $800-$900 on it. He didn't want to fill out the rebate form for the NW Gas people claiming that I would need a high end unit to qualify for it even though I was a new natural Gas customer.

Not sure he was right (one star deducted for this). Everything works and that is good The new thermostat works great for control of heating and cooling. I can program it, change setting easily, or put it on automatic. Very professional - for installing new furnace and adding central air and new thermostat. The units work wonderfully. The lady who answers the phone is wonderful She was friendly and service oriented too.

I feel like we got ripped off by this company. My husband called to have them install three smart switches for outside/inside lights which are all located at the same switch panel. We had our own switches we purchased online. We were told that they probably wouldn't be able to use them but that they would bring their own they could install. We were also told the service call would be $149 which we understood would be included in the installation costs.

The tech showed up and said the installation would cost $277 in ADDITION to the $149 service call. So $426 to replace three light switches in the same location! He told us he couldn't use our switches because they were the wrong kind, and he didn't have any with him because there are too many kinds. So I was pressured to pay the $149 on the spot for the visit which I wouldn't have scheduled at all had I known they wouldn't be able to do anything if I didn't have the right parts.

Once we learned what we should have bought in the first place, we just did the work ourselves which took about an hour. So we basically paid them $149 to tell us which parts we needed to buy.

1 out of the 3 service technicians they sent over I found to be honest and up front. Service call on my heat pump, they were told refrigerant needed to be checked. A temp technician came to do service, said everything looks great. Asked if they checked refrigerant.nope, I don't do that was the response, we have to send another tech. Said if I needed it checked, your heat pump most likely will need to be replaced. BS. Quoted me over $1,300.00 for a leak test and recharge. $49 per # for 410a. BTW, never checked to see if I had a warranty.

Guess what, 10 year warranty still applies. Installing tech that but in the heat pump will drive 2 hours each way (paid), do the work on the day I request, and fix the issue for around $800.00. That is how much you overpay for A Temp. Never will call them again.

A Temp is about as good as it gets! I scheduled to have them do some electrical work at my house.install a fan, put in some canister lights and install a Chandelier. My experience began with Kia. She is friendly, professional and very efficient. Then Justin came out to do the work and again, friendly, professional and very efficient. I highly recommend A Temp for any of your electrical needs and I suspect you will be in good hands for any HVAC work as well. Don't even mess around with other contractors. This company is the best!

Have used A-Temp in the past and been very happy with their service and professionalism. We had an issue with a recent service call and expressed our concerns to the company. They responded quickly and fixed the situation at no cost to us. They wanted to ensure our 100% satisfaction. They could not have been more accomodating. In June 2017, my A/C unit was not cooling the house to my level of comfort. I called A-Temp and explained the situation. The woman said it sounded like my A/C unit just needed to be serviced. The soonest they could schedule me was July 29th (6 weeks out) between 4-6pm. At 4:33 pm on July 29th, I received a phone call that the Technician was not coming out as he had a medical emergency.

I called them back to reschedule emphasizing that I could not wait another 6 weeks as the weather was forecasted to be in the 100's this week. They scheduled a Technician to come out Tuesday, August 2nd between 12 - 2pm. On Monday, August 1st, I received another call asking if a Technician could come out between 11a - 1pm. I said okay. On Tuesday, August 2nd, my fiance received another call asking if a Technician could come out between 1 - 3pm instead because the other Technician had a medial issue come up (I'm 2 for 2 on Technicians not meeting their appointments with medical issues arising at the last minute).

At this point, I became frustrated at all the rescheduling from A-Temps as this required us to reschedule our work schedules multiple times for an original appointment that was supposed to be on a Saturday (which we already scheduled ourselves available to be home). A-Temps did not send out a Technician to service our A/C unit, but to repair the unit.

The visit ended up costing us $627 instead of $99 (due to 4lbs. of coolant at $132/lb.). AND my A/C unit is still not serviced. I will have to schedule another appointment for another $118 to have a technician come out to actually service the unit. In my experience, A-Temps is not reliable company. There are several others to choose from.

These guys are awesome! Their technicians are honest and hard working. They try to help you get up and running again with as little disruption as possible. I unfortunately had to replace my furnace and AC and they made it somewhat painless - at least as painless as that replacement could be. We also participate in their annual maintenance program which makes taking care of filter changes, system cleanings and recharging very much more affordable.

Any time you might need something, if you're part of that program they discount home visits and parts. I highly recommend them to anyone who might need help, especially when it's really miserably cold outside and your furnace has decided to take a break, because they definitely jump in to help as quickly as they can, any day of the week, without extra charge for weekend work.

Today I had my ducts cleaned as a completion of the furnace project. Joshua M was my technician. He took his time to tell me very clearly what he'd be doing and how long it would take. He was careful when removing covers to protect paint finishes etc., and he joked needlessly at the end of the job that his goal was always to leave a house cleaner than it was when he arrived. I can tell you that he was true to his goal. All around a great experience. Feels good to get the dust, pet hair, and lots of icky stuff out of our ducts!
