I think AGL is superior. We bought our home in Charleston a year ago and decided to keep AGL on the recommendation of the previous owner. Could not be happier with the service and professionalism of their people.

AGL is always on time and even early sometime. The service rep always calls about 30 min. Before they come. Staff is knowledgeable and explains what needs to be done and gives an estimate. Then you choose if your wanting to go forward. It also needs to be said the office staff is always polite and works well with us. We highly recommend. Services: A/C system repair, Repair HVAC

Andrew spent a lot of time reviewing options for new HVAC systems and providing the cost/benefit of more efficient Trane models. He ultimately recommended and installed a system with great (but not the highest) efficiency. Leading up to the install, Andrew proactively communicated what would happen, when it would happen, and what his potential concerns were. Andrew was on top of the details so that I didn't need to worry and I didn't have to babysit. Employees were friendly, professional and efficient. The HVAC replacement was done on time, on budget, and hassle free. I highly recommend AGL and will use them again when it's time to replace the current system (in 20yrs!).

Josh was great about Coordinating the service call and follow up on what was needed And communicating with me and the tenants. The office is always good to talk to, also. I've used many HVAC companies managing properties and AGL is tops in my book. Service: Heating system maintenance

Joshua was excellent! Diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly and accurately, explaining the details and the most likely cause, even showing the damaged part. Signed up for the semiannual maintenance program a couple years ago, because we live closeby to their warehouse, and the techs have always done a great job. Before leaving they always give us a quick breakdown of what they checked out and the overall condition, which puts us at ease because it feels like we can trust them. Our HVAC is less than 3 years old, so no problems with it so far, but if it's well-maintained from the beginning you can extend its life and maximize its efficiency, plus having the service contract gives you a discount on repairs if you ever need them, so it pays for itself in multiple ways. Besides nobody wants their a/c going out in the middle of the summer.

During a cold snap I noticed it was getting colder in my house. The inside temp finally registered at 56 degrees. I called AGL on a Sunday on a holiday weekend. Steven cheerfully arrived in 30 minutes, fixed the problem, and was on his way after presenting me with an extremely reasonable bill. I will use them for any issues with my heating and air! Nancy

Had my first seasonal check before the really hot weather sets on here. Steven Cantrell from AGL performed the service this morning. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He was patient explaining some issues I had with the thermostat. He was on time and professional in every way. Most of all he was thorough. This confirmed my first impressions of AGL. After getting 3 companies to come out for second and third opinions on my 16 year old AC that had quit, AGL services was the best for my money. They were patient in explaining all my options, helping me compare units and weigh all my options with "no pressure" sales. They were trying to help me make an informed decision and also offering financing as paying in full was not possible.

I ended up with a great Trane unit that cools much much much better than my old cheap unit, it's so much quieter and I'm looking forward to seeing some savings on my energy bill. I've seen nothing but stellar customer service so far in my short time working with them. I'd recommend them to anyone considering a new AC unit or needing some maintenance.

Great service! They didn't overcharge and were very professional. Jeff Layden was the service tech that came out today. Saved us some money! We have used them before and we will use them again.
